Oporto Chic & Cozy - Bolhão

Pros: Loved the style of the room and how close it was to the metro

Perfect location in Porto

Pros: Perfect location, just a short walk from Bolhão and Trindade metro stations (easy trip to the airport). The room is very spacious with many wardrobes, big sofa and a dining table. There is a kettle, toaster, TV and air-conditioning (very useful in winter time because it's cold in Porto, also inside of buildings). Thick curtains let you properly darker the room for a good night of sleep.

Cons: There is electricity problem - when air-conditioning is working, you can't use a kettle or toaster - electricity goes off. We had to turn off air-conditioning before using them - pretty annoying. Even though there is Nespresso coffee machine, no coffee capsules were offered. There was only one (literally one) Lipton tea bag waiting for us. No shower gel or shampoo (even though dispensers are installed in the shower). We got only one small solid soap to share. TV is of older generation, you can't connect your phone to watch something else apart from 7 Portuguese TV-channels.

Pros: It was very easy as I got a text from the host with clear instructions on the door code entry system and lock box and photos as well to locate the correct building and door. All very clear and very quick response times.

Pros: Such a good location, great contact with host and a lovely apartment

Pros: Great location! Grocery store downstairs and everything you need in a walking distance. Very stylish, clean and modern. Excellent worth for money.

Good price to quality ratio, comfortable. Definitely will come back.

Pros: I loved the cats that came to the terrace. The cleaning ladies were super friendly and helpful.

Cons: Electricity was popping off, and the kitchen utensils could be in better condition. Very squeaky floor and you could hear all the neighbours

Large and spacious apartment in a great central location. We explored everywhere in Porto by foot.

Pros: Good communication from host. Sent photos and details to find apartment and keys easily. Large and spacious living areas and 2 bedrooms

Cons: Shower door didn't close well allowing water to leak and shower drain was slow so had to use a towel to mop up excess from the floor.

I would recommend

Pros: Excellent communication, ease of checking in. Everything was very clean (the shower could have been cleaner) and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment was close to amenities and we found it quiet.

Cons: The shower didn't drain fast enough creating a pool of water. I think the outlet pipe was blocked as hair was found when it did eventually drain. A map of the area would have been nice.

Pros: Very spacious and clean. Great location for accessing tourist sites.
