Comfy cute ‘window’ to Porto

Pros: A very cute apartment, comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen, airco heats it up very fast, nice to have a washing machine available, very clear instructions and nice sightseeing tips from te owner: perfect!

Overall I love this property and would definitely stay here on my next visit to this lovely city.

Pros: I stayed at Window to Porto for three weeks in the beautiful city of Porto. This property is located in a decent neighborhood. Easy walking distance to many of the cities sightseeing, restaurants and supermarkets. The property provided freshly scented white towels, bed linen and cleaning services weekly .

Cons: There was only three channel available on the television in English. All three were News Channel. It was an older model television and therefore I was unable to access You Tube and/or stream anything. I would recommend investing in a smart TV.

Great value for money with free parking

Pros: The check-in was really smooth, communication is clear and sufficient, the place is nice, almost new, really comfortable and a huge pro is having a free parking lot next to the place. Probably would return here.

Cons: Unfortunately the apartment is in a shady area, full of dubious characters, visible during day and night. I wasn't really sure leaving a car on the street is that safe. Also I'd advise the home owners to put more pressure on the rest of the inhabitants as the main gate was being left constantly open and with all the weirdoes around, I didn't felt that safe.

Great location and great host.

Pros: The location was very close to public transport. The host was responsive and gave good recommendations. Parking was available near the location.

Cons: As the bed was in a loft, it was pleasant, but if you needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, you had to come down. For senior folks, this might be a challenge.

Amazing place to stay

Pros: Great host, amazing apartment. Clean, comfy, well equipped. Self check in/out went smoothly. There are plenty of restaurants, grocery shops nearby. We will for sure choose the same apartment for our next trip to Porto.

Absolutely fabulous property.

Pros: The proximity to the airport, to grocery shops, to the river. It was spacious enough for 2 people, comfortable bed, washing machine.

Cons: I could not find a kettle so we had to use a saucepan to boil water. The main door got blocked one night but thankfully there is a back gate that we could use.

A great option for stay in Porto

Pros: The apartment was in great shape, very clean and spacious. All the necessary amenities were available and the host was very helpful with everything we could possibly need. I definitely recommend this place.

Cons: Nothing special.

Perfect for short periods

Pros: The overall facilities and the host's support were very good. While it is a small space the layout is practical and provides the necessary comfort up to 4 people during a short stay. The air conditioning and wi-fi were also efficient and worked very well during owr stay. It is easy to find free parking spaces around the property.

Cons: The location is ok. It is not far from downtown and it is easy to connect via public transportation, but by car we got some traffic jams and, in some occasions, it took us around 30 minutes from Cais da Ribeira to the apartment. The pictures on Booking.com show different units with some layout variations. It is important to check which one the guest is booking.

Pros: Nice, fully furnished apartment. The stairs are steep, which we didn't mind, but I would consider it if I had mobility problems. Communication with the landlord was very good.

Cons: There is a new house under construction right outside the apartment, so it gets busy early in the morning on weekdays. It's not the owner's fault, of course, but I think it's fair to mention it.

Comfortable stay

Pros: Everything was fantastic, and apartment had all the amenities required, for a comfortable stay. We walked everywhere, and didn't require public transport, however there is a bus stop nearby

Cons: N/A
