Downtown Porto Spot - 2 bedroom Apartment

Lovely relaxing stay in a centrally located apartment within walking distance of many attractions

Pros: We were warmly welcomed to the apartment by our host Luis. He explained everything to us and, as he lives nearby, was able to assist with any additional requirements during our stay. Luis had prepared a list of recommended restaurants nearby along with the location of supermarkets, pharmacies, etc which was very helpful until we found our bearings. This is a very clean and bright two bedroom apartment, centrally located and within walking distance of most attractions. We stayed for five nights and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The apartment is well equipped, has air conditioning and electric shutters. We found the neighbourhood to be safe and quiet. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby with a 20 minute walk down to the riverside. As we had an early flight home, Luis organised a taxi to pick us up from the apartment. He is an excellent host!

Cons: There is nothing that we didn't like but the apartment is on the third floor so would perhaps not suit anyone with mobility issues. The apartment is uphill from the riverside and heritage site but is perfectly manageable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. There are so many lovely streets and shops to explore on the way back to the apartment, it is not really a chore!

Pros: Great location & the apartment facilities were exceptional. Coffee machine superb.

Pros: Clean, nicely decorated apartment with good facilities right in the centre of Porto but quiet. Easy walking distance to main attractions, restaurants, stations, metro, and river.

Cons: Sitting/sofa area was quite small for 4 adults, but we weren't in much.

Pros: The apartment has 2 separate bedrooms, one bathroom (bonus it has a hair dryer), an open area of kitchen (well equipment) and a small living room. The main bedroom has its own air conditioning, and the second air conditioning is in the kitchen (but applied also for the second room). Both rooms have blackout shades. The apartment was clean and located very close to the main objectives of the city center. It is at the second level (3rd flow), but this was not a problem for us. Luis was available upon our arrival and explained to us about the apartment's rules.

Cons: Outside of the second room (the one near the kitchen), in the interior yard, during the night there is some noise, an alarm (like a bird sound) which is very annoying if you try to sleep with the window open. Other than this, everything was ok.

Welcoming owner, nicely outfitted apartment in a good location for a city trip

Pros: Great location to access a lot of central Porto - close to metro station, grocery stores, restaurants/cafe/bars, sights, markets etc. Two bedrooms were perfect for two couples. We did use the kitchen a couple of nights to eat in (takeaway or groceries) and the facilities worked well for these easier meals. Appreciated the air conditioning when it was warm. Luis was responsive and checked in with us - we appreciated it.

Cons: People should be aware that it is an apartment on the top floor with, like many in European cities, only stairs. This wasn't an issue for us, but you'll have to carry everything up with you.

Pros: The location was very good, right in the central, old Porto. The restaurants, cafe, mini marts, visiting attractions.. were around the property. The host was very kind and helpful. We made mistake in booking date, luckily the host agreed to change the date for us. And he let us leave the luggages cause our bus to Fatima was at 4pm.

Pros: Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le propriétaire. Le logement est propre. Il dispose de deux vraies chambres. L'appartement est très bien situé. Il est proche à pied des transports, des commerces et du centre touristique.

Vacaciones, perfectas.

Pros: La ubicación está justo en el centro de Oporto, bajando una calle. En general, el apartamento está muy bien, no se escucha ruido. La habitación de matrimonio es muy grande y bonita igual que la foto y la cama es cómoda. La otra habitación aunque más pequeña tiene una cama de matrimonio perfecta para dormir los niños. La cocina está equipada con lo necesario . En general, el apartamento está equipado con todo para pasar unos días de vacaciones. En la misma calle hay bares, hay tiendas de comida .

Cons: Lo que menos me gustó es que es un tercer piso sin ascensor.

Pros: Sijainti hyvä keskustan kupeessa. Tilava hyvin varusteltu huoneisto. Tehokas ilmastointi. Luis palveli loistavasti.

Cons: Huterat ruokapöydän penkit. Suihkukaapin poistoviemäri liian hidas.

Séjour parfait

Pros: Appartement très agréable avec tout le confort nécessaire ( lave vaisselle , lave linge , literie très confortable. ) Il ne manque rien ! Appartement très bien situé proche de tous commerces. L’hôte , Luis est très sympathique, accueillant disponible et veille au confort de ses occupants. Tout était parfait !
