Paraíso Garden Suite--- Spacious & Downtown

Hidden gem within walking distance of the old town

Pros: A beautiful ground floor apartment with high ceilings, a dedicated parking spot, luxurious bathrooms, terrace and a well appointed kitchen. The location was about a 20-30 minute walk from the touristy old town, which was nice because there was little traffic or noise. Small stores selling fresh fruit and vegetables are around the corner. A supermarket is several blocks away.

Cons: There is nothing negative to say. This was a wonderful flat.

Beautiful and comfortable apartment with lovely garden and terrace

Pros: This is an amazing apartment, beautifully appointed and really comfortable. It was perfect for our trip for two couples with two bedrooms and two enormous bathrooms. Good WiFi, great showers, aircon and a washing machine. Lovely shared garden and also our own private terrace which we sat out on each evening before going out for dinner. Comfortable twenty min walk down to the centre, less than ten min walk to some great restaurants (Ruo de Almada) and a supermarket, Lapa metro is ten mins walk and on direct route from the airport. We preferred being out of the centre as it was much quieter. Alice was really friendly and helpful and the check in instructions came with really useful photos. Would definitely recommend.

Cons: Maybe some info on where to take rubbish ? We found them when out walking but a little note would be useful. Also need to check stock as only three wine glasses.

Pros: The best apartment so far. Plenty of space enough for both couples. Cleaning was excellent. The architecture, the style,everything was amazing. Garden was a big plus. We loved it

Pros: Amazing hidden gem. A lovely property with period features and superbly renovated. Great location, with a garden and FREE CAR PARKING. If you want to spend time in Porto, then stop looking and just book tobstay here. Hosts friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Peaceful Hideaway

Pros: The apartment is spacious and comfortable and the period details are beautiful. It is at the rear of the building so very peaceful and there is a very pretty garden.

Pros: The apartment was amazing and lovely decorated. The little garden was a great spot to have a glass of Porto 😊 We loved the place and will come back!

Outstanding

Pros: This property was extraordinary. Stop looking and stay here. We had a 2 bed, 2 bathroom on the bottom floor that looked into the garden which we utilized with a glass of wine in hand. The apartment was everything we hoped and more. Very stylish and just a really lovely place to relax

Nice flat, small parking space!

Pros: Lovely old building with an outdoor space. Not too close to the centre of town for it to be noisy but not too far to walk to all the main attractions.

Cons: Parking was a problem. We had a big car. The parking space (tiny for the size of our car!) and the entrance to the property is very small. We had a big problem parking the car. You cant park the car outside to go in and get the key to open the gate to let yourself in as its a really busy road. We ended up doing a lap, parking up the road, collecting the keys, doing another lap then letting ourselves in. The owner really needs to tell people how small the parking space is.
