It was lovely.

Pros: It was configured perfectly. I felt like I was actually living in Porto. The lovely caraf of port was a lovely touch. João was very helpful when I arrived. Unfortunately because of the weather issues I was unable to enjoy the outdoor area. Maybe another time. The kitchenette was stocked perfectly. The location was also perfect. Really close to the centre but far enough away to feel like I was away from it all.

Cons: The walls were pretty thin. I think I was lucky that maybe people next door didn’t arrive until the day before I was leaving. Also the aircon went off during the night a couple of times. It then automatically came on after a number of hours, but it was freezing in the meantime.

Nice apartment in nice location, helpful staff

Pros: Very clean and roomy apartment with kitchenette. We liked the central location, with lots of things to see and do within just a few minutes walk. The location is in an old area and we enjoyed the neighbourhood architecture. Quiet street. A generous breakfast was delivered daily. Staff were super helpful, and gave us advice on the best things to see and recommendations for local restaurants (thanks Joao!), directions for driving, etc. We parked our car (extra charge) at an underground lot a short walk away, which they have available for visitors.

Cons: Nothing. We would recommend Pipad'oro to anyone.

Pros: Very good location, main attractions walkable, we did not use public transport at all. Very well appointed kitchen, it has everything you need, except maybe a microwave but we used the stove top to reheat food. Beds are very comfortable.

Cons: The stairs to the loft are steep and slippery, not suitable for the elderly. My son actually slipped and fell on his back. We had no more hot water after 2 showers.

Terrific Porto Experience

Pros: Excellent staff, location and very clean. Walking distance to the Douro River, both Porto and Gaia sides. Breakfast service each morning delivered to your room with lots of variety for a cold meal. . Definitely recommend.

Cons: Nothing, we enjoyed our stay for 5 nights.
