Nice stay

Pros: Nice place to stay with everything needed! Close to the city center, everything was clean and tidy and the communication with the host was very easy.

porto ideal accommodation.

Pros: the apartment was completely kitted out with everything you need you could live there long term. there was a good bakers 2 doors up,a bar 2 doors away, a very good whisky bar with over 100 different whisky, resturant nearby.

Cons: we found it hard to be critical. It was a lot more than we expected.

Pros: Host communication 10/10 fantastic Location 9/10 very good location walking distance from every major site Sound proofing 2/10 you could hear conversations word for word from the flat above Room itself 9/10 (no microwave) but tv had internet and netflix Bathroom 5/10 its small but the problem was the hot water wouldn't stay hot for more then 5 minutes (problematic if your a couple) Value for money 7/10 A solid 8/10 apartment

Cons: Bathroom and sound proofing prevented this from being rated higher

Porto is a fantastic city and Sunny Home is a great base for exploring the city.

Pros: The owner Carlos was great, he welcomed us at the apartment and explained everything we needed to know, then spent a bit of time helping us understand how to get around Porto and the best places to visit and eat. As we were staying for 11 days he also provided plenty of replacement towels for us. The apartment is in a great location close to Lapa metro station and within walking distance of almost everything, although with Porto being so hilly it's easier walking down than back up :) The apartment had pretty much everything we needed with a well equipped kitchen and the balcony was great for breakfast in the morning and a little glass of wine before going out at night. The area is also very quiet at night so we had no problems sleeping. If and when we're back in Porto we would definately use Sunny Home again and highly recommend Carlos as a host.

Cons: Very small point, but it would have been nice to have had a microwave to speed up any cooking we did.

Pros: Good location, excellent balcony. Good quality furniture and equipment. Lovely large doors and windows, thus making the place a bona fide 'sunny home'. Would repeat if was ever in Portugal.

Cons: Neighbours could be a little loud at times, but of course the host can't help that.

Great base to explore all of Porto

Pros: Good location close to Lapa metro station and characteristic Cedofeita center. The apartment had everything we needed. Especially the balcony was much appreciated. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen. It's very quiet at night, so we had a great sleep. The host was very attentive, welcomed us there despite our delayed flight late in the evening.

Cons: Bathroom (shower in particular) could use a thorough renovation, so it would be easier to clean. The facilities were sufficient for us though.

Great place for a short stay in Porto!

Pros: Fantastic location, right next to the train station. Shops/ restaurants nearby and easily walkable to city centre. There is a lovely bakery a few doors down. Host was very easily reachable, would highly recommend!

Cons: It was quite noisy during the night from other neighbours which was quite disturbing.

Prettig appartement, centraal gelegen, net buiten het drukke centrum.

Pros: Wij konden eerder inchecken en onze spullen alvast achterlaten. Carlos zorgde voor een prettige check-in, zodat je je gelijk thuis voelde. Ook gaf hij ons goede tips voor Porto. Heerlijk balkonnetje aan de achterzijde waar je rustig kan zitten na een dagje Porto (in de drukte). Inclusief zonsondergang en uitzicht op klein stukje zee in de verte. Er zijn verschillende restaurantjes en een klein supermarktje in de buurt. Centrum is goed bereikbaar te voet (bergaf). Metro Lapa is ook op loopafstand, fijn voor de terugweg (bergop).

Cons: Zoals de meeste appartementen in Porto is het een beetje gehorig. Je hoort de trap en soms de bovenburen. Het heeft ons niet gestoord, geen last van gehad.

Superou as minhas expectativas!

Pros: A acomodação é uma fofura! Os detalhes e o conforto me deixaram super a vontade! Pretendo voltar!

Un séjour très agréable

Pros: Carlos nous a très bien accueillis. Il a pris le temps de nous situer, de nous présenter les principaux éléments de Porto et de nous offrir une bouteille de vin. Il nous a aidés quand nous avons rencontré un problème de santé. L’appartement est agréable, lumineux. Il y a de la verdure visible de la fenêtre, pas de vis-à-vis. L’environnement est calme. C’est sympa de disposer d’un balcon en ville. Nous avons trouvé dans l’appartement tout ce dont nous avions besoin pendant notre séjour. Le lit est confortable. Le métro est proche et il y a une ligne directe vers l’aéroport. Nous conseillons cet appartement.
