Villa Lóios by Casa do Conto

Fantastic stay at this wonderful apartment.

Pros: Beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable beds. Fabulous location. Quiet in the evening despite being so central.

Cons: No air conditioning units in the bedroom would make it very hot in the summer. Fans were available but I would not book in the hot summer months because of this.

Excellent location, quirky apartment

Pros: Very good location. The roadworks at the end of the street are a bit annoying, and noisy during the day. The apartment had all that you wanted. The introduction by Vania was excellent.

Cons: The bedrooms are on the lower level, and the kitchen/meals/ lounge were upstairs, 21 stairs. We used the handrail every time. I would not advise the apartment for elderly people, or for people with young children.

Perfect - would stay again if we return to Porto

Pros: Beautifully decorated, light, large, two-storey apartment in a central location. Surprisingly quiet for a place in the middle of town. Great to have a balcony to sit out on, and proper cooking facilities. (It is run by the hotel Tipografia do Conto which is very chic, has friendly, helpful staff, and a gorgeous swimming pool! The hotel is further north in the city but worth checking out)

Cons: A bath as well as a shower would have been the icing on the cake. Also, if you can’t manage steps this is not the property for you - there’s a long staircase between bedrooms and living room/ kitchen.

Amazing. Such a lovely apartment and location was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Pros: We arrived late (10.30pm) and communication was very clear on the process. Our taxi from the airport was happy to stop by the hotel and pick up the keys. All very straightforward. The apartment was spotless and amazing. Such a great location. 2 lovely bars/tapas on our doorstep and close to all places we wanted to visit plus a supermarket a couple of minutes walk.

Cons: It was a short distance from the hotel to the apartment if you arrive late to pick up keys so with bags I would say a taxi would preferable else it's a 19min walk. It was fine and not a problem.

Perfect location, very clean and homemade cookies!!

Pros: The location was perfect and the internal decor was both contemporary and traditionally with bare stone exposed throughout.

Cons: The restaurant downstairs specialises in fish and this makes the stairwell aromatic. Unfortunately we don’t like fish, however it didn’t affect the bedroom.

Pros: Responsive host, good communication. Flat was clean and well furnished. Beds were comfortable and sound insulation was generally good.

Cons: Only one set of keys provided. Door locks inside the flat did not work properly or could only be locked from one side (despite the keyhole being accessible on both sides).

Grandioses, Apartment! Top ausgestattet.

Pros: Die Dachterrasse ist spitze, super Aussicht und auch die Lage ist definitiv nennenswert! Das Apartment ist sehr zentral gelegen und in paar Minuten ist man überall! In der Nähe hat es einen kleinen Einkaufsladen, wo man alles erhält. Der Empfang und Betreuung durch die Vermietung war grandios. Man konnte sie zu jeder Zeit bequem via Whatsapp erreichen. Die Betten sind mega bequem. Wir haben herrlich geschlafen und die paar Tage in Porto in vollen Zügen genossen. PS: Das Auschecken ist total bequem, den Schlüssel kann man einfach in den Briefkasten vom Apartment werfen (vorher unbedingt das Aussentor öffnen!!!! Unsere Nachbarn haben sich so eingesperrt).
