Victoria House

Pros: Enjoyed our stay in Porto, our hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything required for a comfortable stay. From every conceivable extra, assistance with sightseeing and arrangements for leaving luggage after check-out all went well.

Beautiful home to enjoy in comfort and style.

Pros: This is a lovely introduction to life in Porto. The building is a beautifully restored, tile covered art nouveau house in Bonfim, a local neighbourhood with easy access to the centre. It feels exactly as you wish a stay in a romantic city like Porto should, with beautiful decor and many touches of generosity and comfort provided by the friendly but discrete hosts - from the decanters of port in the reception room, to the fruit bowl artistically arranged in our room. All the practical details are expertly taken care of - comfortable beds, strong shower, kitchenette, laundry ... and then a layer of personality, comfort and style that sets it apart from a hotel room or other short stay options. Highly recommend, especially for a longer stay.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was lovely, thoughtful and generous.

Being spoilt in Porto!

Pros: Staying im Victoria House has definitely been our favourite accommodation on our trip so far. Not only was the location excellent and in walking distance to everythig but the accommodation itself was stunning! The renovations on this old building has been completed to a very high standard and styled beautifully. The amenities were also endless, some including port on arrival, snacks, coffee machine, washing machine/dryer. On arrival, Manuela was extremely helpful, providing us with local hidden treasures for food and what monuments were a must see. She was extremely accommodating. We were sad to leave and would definitely stay at Victoria House again if we return to Porto.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike.

Einmalig schön

Pros: Das Haus am Rande der Altstadt bietet höchsten Komfort. Die Ausstattung des Apartments 'Victoria' ist luxuriös. Dazu, auf Kosten der Gastgeber, Portwein, Bier, Obst und Süßigkeiten. Das Willkommen durch unseren Gastgeber, Jorge, war ausgezeichnet und so detailliert. Seine Tipps zur Stadt, Restaurants und Bars sind einmalig gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Victoria House nur weiterempfehlen.

Lovely stay in hip, leafy neighborhood near commercial areas

Pros: Situated perfectly, near the commercial zone with all the action, but not IN the commercial zone. Ideal for walkers and those who like to take the metro. The design and upkeep of the property is excellent; bed very comfortable, kitchen adequately stocked, and many small pleasant surprises provided by the friendly hosts. Highly recommend!

Cons: Nothing to complain about. It was a winner all around.
