Highly recommend this central Porto apartment

Pros: Beautiful, well-kept apartment right in the heart of Porto. Lots of sights, shops and bars all around and 15-20 mins stroll down to the riverside. A great base to explore the city. Having the market with its lovely food and drink stalls was a real bonus. The apartment itself was scrupulously clean and we appreciated our host letting us check in early due to morning flights. Throughout our stay, our host manage a perfect balance of being available to advise but also being discreet. The flat itself is really spacious, the beds are comfy, and the bed linen and towels are excellent quality. The kitchen is well equipped and we were kindly left coffee, tea and water for our arrival. There are numerous supermarkets minutes walk away.

Cons: Nothing really. It was sometimes quite cold in the flat, but there are heaters in every room and spare duvets. I would imagine in the summer it is really airy and pleasant.

Pros: Such a great location. Fabulous area opposite the food market. Everything we needed, could have not left the block!!

Cons: Apartment and stairway a bit dark. Automatic lighting not reliable. Not really balcony, just an outside walled space.

Pros: Location great, lovely light apartment which was spotlessly clean. Great communication with getting keys etc. Comfortable beds and lots of storage. Good showers.

Cons: One thing which is not ideal is that the bedroom is separated from the living room (where the sofa bed is located) only by a curtain. In my opinion, this makes the apartment better suited to a couple than 4 people, though one can also make it work.

Nice little apartment, good location

Pros: The location in the center of town on a quiet street was perfect. The apartment was cute and nicely decorated. The host was friendly and quick to respond to queries.

Cons: You could hear anyone in the building coming and going at night, and also within the apartment the doors were not effective at blocking out noise.
