Pros: The apartment’s location and condition were superb. It’s conveniently close to almost everything, including the Metro station, which made getting around very easy.

Cons: This isn’t meant as a criticism, but rather a suggestion. While the apartment was spotless, it lacked some of the finishing touches that could have made our stay even better. For example, for our three-night stay, only two coffee pods were provided — and no tea bags. At this price point, we would normally expect a few basic kitchen essentials such as salt, pepper, and cooking oil as well. One of the main reasons we booked this apartment was because we wanted to cook breakfasts, but it was difficult to do so without these basics. Similarly, at first, we couldn’t use the washing machine as no detergent pods were supplied. As I mentioned, these might be conscious business decisions, but it’s a shame — as with just a few small additions, this would be a perfect base for enjoying beautiful Porto
