Pros: The apartment was very clean. The building was recently renovated, so everything is new. The furniture is modern and of good quality. There is an elevator in the building. The location is perfect – it's on a charming, pedestrian-only street with lots of nice shops and cafes. There is a Spar market nearby, a shopping mall, and the Bolhao market.

Cons: The stay was perfect. We were using public transport, but if you travel by car, you may have a problem finding the spot to park.

Pros: Comfortable and well equipped apartment, nice to have outdoor space. Great central location for walking, buses and metro. Excellent and helpful communication with the hosts, our questions were quickly answered. Key code for door worked every time. Appreciated the welcome gift of wine and biscuits.

The apartment was really lovely and the location was fantastic.

Pros: The apartment was spacious, bright and quiet. We felt very at home.

Cons: It was not clear which apt in the building we were staying at. The door numbering in the booking comms and on the doors were not obvious. So we were confused and had to figure it out. The WhatsApp messaging is with a bot and it keeps sending the same message unless you ask for an agent. But the agent response was quite slow. So we emailed as well. We had real difficulty exiting the apt because the electronic lock kept getting stuck. We contacted the host who eventually explained there was a manual way of opening the door. But this was not clear at all.

Pros: The location is very good. Although the house is near a pedestrian area, the rooms are very soundproofed and there is absolutely no noise.

Aesthetically pleasing

Pros: Clean beautiful space it was very close to shops and restaurants, would highly recommend!

Cons: You don’t get a key tag,but a code to enter. Would feel a bit safe to know that you have an other option to enter if the code fails to work.

Loved the location and all the facilities but need a better bed

Pros: Great location. Unfortunately we did not get the room with a view but it was very quiet and we enjoyed the stay.

Cons: The view at the back. The bed was very uncomfortable so very hard for us and very small. And the pillows were not very supportive so we had to put two together to not get a sore neck. We also had lots of issues with front door lock to get in at least 3-7 attempts to access. The people we spoke to did not believe us. The people in the front flat had the same issue.

One of the better apartments we have been in for years.

Pros: Location = 10! On Rua Santa Catharina in the heart of Porto. Very clean and upmarket apartment. On busy street but with windows closed one did not even hear a sound. Will certainly stay here again should we be in Porto again.

Cons: Internet was a bit of an issue (did not work) but was sorted out eventually - unfortunately only the evening before we checked out.

Pros: Brilliant location. Apartment very clean and like new. Very spacious living room.

Cons: Just small niggles: The door to the apartment was difficult to operate. The bedroom was quite small and has no access to fresh air. A couple of firmer pillows would have been welcome.

We would stay here again, it was the perfect accomodation for a couple for 5 days.

Pros: The apartment was spacious, very clean and well appointed with an elevator. It was in an amazing location on the shopping street, which meant it was lively during the day but quiet at night. A shopping centre with food court and supermarket is a few shops away. It is 10 steps away from the beautiful blue tiled Chapel of Santa Caterina and a three minute walk to the Bolhao Market. Having a washing machine was a bonus.

Cons: The wifi was challenging and dropped off frequently, which meant the television didn't work. The hosts arranged an alternate network for us. The door unlocking mechanism took getting used to.

Good value for money, great location

Pros: Great location , sound proof, very modern and clean. Short ride or walk to attractions and a LOT of great restaurants and coffee shops.

Cons: A bit of confusion getting into the apartment and internet going down which was all sorted out
