Good location. Good value for money
Pros: Close to city center. Facilities. Cleanliness. Nice terrace although it was common for all residents
Cons: The windows of my apt came out on the busy street so the noise was almost constant. I had chill weather so it wasn't very irritating but if it gets hot it could be more problematic

Pros: The apartment was in a convenient location; it was easy to walk to most of the sites in Porto. The apartment was small but well designed to make maximum use of the space and as an extra bonus there was a washing machine and parking!
Cons: The location on a main route into Porto was noisy during the day but quieter at night and the wooden shutters helped reduce the noise.

Pros: Nice location, good communication with the host, nice furnished apartament, parking place in closed area
Cons: No air conditioning - the windows from the street side so it was loudly with open windows

Wonderful place to stay
Pros: Fontainhas is a lovely property. There is a queen sized bed and a great kitchen including an all in one washer/dryer and dishwasher. It is comfortably furnished, reasonably spacious and the kitchen is well equipped, although the only cooking supplies were some oil, vinegar and salt - which was also true for other places we stayed in Portugal. The apartment has wood floors and wooden shutters over the windows making it feel very warm. Communication with the staff at Da'Home was excellent. They seem very serious about making your stay a pleasant one. The location is great for sightseeing since many of the main attractions are 10 - 15 minute walk away, however there is reasonable amount of uphill from Sao Bento station going back to the apartment.
Cons: I like the fairly low pillow and the provided pillows were higher than I can sleep on, so I ended up using one of the decorative feather pillows to sleep which worked well. The location is on a fairly busy uphill street and can noisy, especially if you open the lovely windows. At night, the shutters for the windows block a lot of the noise, but light sleepers might need the provided ear plugs. The shower was a bit of an adventure since the temperature would continue to increase over a period of 2 or 3 minutes and the flow would go from normal to double the volume suddenly - which when you are leaning in to reduce the temperature can be a wake up call : )

Pros: The apartment is very comfortable. Hosts are helpful and easy to contact. The location is great, the city center and all major attractions are in 10-15 minutes walking. Private and secured car parking is a huge plus for those who come by car like us. We just leave the car for 3 days and walked everywhere.
Cons: All windows of the apartment go on very noisy street and you hear cars passing by all the time even if the windows are closed.

Perfect apartment for staying in Porto
Pros: Perfect! The apartment is located just off the center of Porto with most attractions and the best spots to enjoy a sunset just a short walk away. The apartment has everything you need for your stay, including washer and dishwasher detergents, and I was especially pleased with the in-floor heating, wooden floor and a washer+dryer combo that made my stay very pleasant. Private parking space in a secure courtyard was also provided. All necessities were included, including some earplugs as the night traffic in Porto can sometimes be noisy :) Best of all were the lovely and professionl hosts at DA'HOME, including the cleaning staff that refreshed the apartment also during my week-long stay. I highly recommended DA'HOME and their offering in Porto!
Cons: As the apartment is on the street side, traffic noise can occasionally be bothersome. But mostly it is very quiet and peaceful during nights and for those who sleep lightly there are earplugs provided

Great location, fine style of the property, reasonable price
Pros: Spacious bedroom, floor heating, comfy beds, pretty furnished, all amenities in the kitchen and the bathroom. Great communication with the hosts, the location was perfect - walking distance to the city center was just 10min away. Highly recommended, would book again if in Porto.

Overall, we were happy with our choice
Pros: The property was easy to find. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful. We didn't find the place noisy at all when the double glazed windows were closed
Cons: The lighting was rather dim. There are no ceiling lights and the table lamps could have had brighter LED bulbs The water pressure in the shower fluctuated a lot when other guests in the 12 apartments block were using showers or taps.

Great apartment in a perfect location, just it lacks AC.
Pros: Excellent location, very close to a city center. Also there are quite a few supermarkets and nice restaurants in the vicinity. Hosts were super helpful.
Cons: There's no AC so at night we had to open the windows. However, apartment is just above a very busy street and noise from cars was quite loud.
