Cardosas Square Apartments by Porto City Hosts

Pros: cute little apartment in one of our favourite cities. location is tricky to find using google maps, luckily host provided detailed intrsuction with some photos of entrance door else we would not have found it. place is a little like studio apartment with separate kitchen/laundry room.

Cons: there is a metal door that is closed at night which you'll have to enter the pin in to open. unfortunately they way they designed it, you'd have to be coming from outside to enter the pin (won't be able to reach the keypad from inside). something to be mindful of if you need to catch early flights. We asked our uber driver to come and enter the pin for us to open the gate.

We had a fabulous week in Porto and found the apartment an excellent base to explore from.

Pros: The property is very well equipped comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent for walking around the city centre and being close to restaurants bars and shopping as well as historical places of interest.

Cons: At the moment construction work is being done on the new metro red line part of which is outside the apartment building. It was a little noisy at times from that. However earplugs solved this issue for me and it did not spoil our stay and hopefully the building works will be completed soon.

Very nice stay.

Pros: The location was perfect. Everything we needed was fully equipped. Clean and comfortable. Our room facing the patio was very silent.

Cons: One thing we had a kind of hard time was the key and lock. It was difficult to open.

Pros: The location was an easy walk to many of the Porto sights. Lots of restaurants close by. We had problems with the door lock breaking but the staff had it fixed quickly and kept us informed.

Cons: The bed was squeaky

Great stay, very comfortable and convenient

Pros: Very central, lots of restaurants and shops close to hand. Spacious, clean with clothes washing facilities. Great air conditioning. Lots to watch from the balcony. Very close to metro and train station.

Pros: Unbeatable location and views. Excellent kitchen and laundry facilities. Having a lift for our suitcases was an excellent feature. Room size was perfect for 2 people. Would certainly stay here again.

Cons: Nothing major, the bed was cheap and uncomfortable - which was a little odd as the rest of the furniture in the apartment was quite high end. The markets downstairs run most days and have loud music until 10pm so may not be suitable for light sleepers.

Airy apartment in Porto with everything you need.

Pros: Spacious, airy, good location. Washing machine and clothes horse to dry clothes was very handy. We would stay again and highly recommend.

Good secure place and central

Pros: The location was great for visiting all the attractions. Everything was well within a walking distance and we never used public transport at all except to get to the train station. There was a good mini market very nearby for getting water and basic stuff. And it was very near to Sao Bento station which was about 2 mins away and helped when we arrived as it was raining and we got to the apartment quickly enough not to get wet. The apartment was well equipped with everything for a week's stay.

Cons: Pity everything was handled on Whatsapp and we never met anyone at all, so a little impersonal. Fortunately the information provided (I wished it came earlier but it arrived literally when we were on the metro into the city) was clear enough.

Pros: Great location 👍 very kind staff. Clean and spacious room. Nice and cozy.

Pros: Amazing value for money and dead in the centre. Very clean and spacious place.

Cons: Noise from outside in the hallway very noticeable inside.
