Gorgeous views from our well located top floor apartment in Gaia

Pros: We stayed in the top apparent which has stunning views from the balcony! Truly we had friends staying at fancy hotels that didn’t have as good a view as us. We spent most evenings watching the sun set over Porto from there. It is located perfectly for Gaia and accessing all the port wine cellars and tourist locations on that side of the river (cable car etc.). It is also located in a quiet square with a beautiful church right nearby. The apartment is well appointed with everything you need and the host was really great with communication

Cons: Just a note for you to be aware, there are stairs to get to the apartment which we were fine with but might be an issue for those with decreased mobility.

Stylish and convenient stay in Vila Nova de Gaia

Pros: A good-sized studio apartment for a couple, with nice modern décor and decent facilities. Good location if you want to stay on the Vila Nova de Gaia side. We appreciated the complimentary food/drink (fruit, tea/coffee, mini port, water) and the smart TV. Perhaps they could have provided 4 coffee pods instead of 2. Very good value for money for a last minute booking.

Cons: The apartment was relatively clean, but there was dust/dirt underneath the wardrobe/shelving unit - it is quite high off the ground so it would be easy to sweep/vacuum under there. There is some black mould in the bathroom and in a couple of places around the apartment - this could be cleaned and painted over. The apartment seems to get humid/damp easily after having a shower. There is an extractor fan in the bathroom (the fan really needs to be cleaned) but it only turns on when the light is on, and there is no other ventilation in the bathroom. Otherwise, you could try to use the dehumidifying setting on the aircon unit (limited effectiveness) or open the apartment windows if it's not too cold and you are comfortable with leaving them open while you are out (ground floor).

Super convenient, clean and comfortable apartment

Pros: Very clear directions and check in instructions despite what other people said. Very clean with very comfortable beds. Everything you could possibly need for central city break. It’s was an attractive apartment and felt like a treat. Christina the host was happy to allow us to access early. I would definitely like to stay again

Cons: Nothing. Can’t improve on location or accommodation

Pros: These apartments are in an exceptionally good location.

Cons: It's not a didn't like, just something to note, no washing machine but a very good laundrette about a five minute walk away.

Pros: The location of the apartment was the best I can only imagine in Porto. Nearby all the attractions. It was very big and very well equiped. Even the A/C helped to dry our clothes soaked in rain. Would be back

Great location and quiet at night

Pros: Wonderful location, a few minutes walk from the Tagus promenade. Caring staff, everything is thought out to the smallest detail for the convenience of guests. Entrance to the house and apartment is by code, which is also very convenient. It's quiet at night.

Cons: Everything is fine, except for a few moments. Very poor water drainage in the shower, making the room humid. The windows are in front of the bed and overlook the square in front of the church, we had to keep the shutters closed at all times. Dull knives.

Clean + spacious stay in Gaia

Pros: Location is perfect, the apartment itself is extremely clean and spacious. Easy to get in and out of with door code. Fantastic communication from host too!

Cons: I wouldn't change anything!

Perfect for a Port-wine themed vacation

Pros: Newly renovated apartment in a very high standard. Large private full-length terrace facing a quiet square, with exceptional views of the Douro River, Ponte Luiz, and the sunset. Much better than the pictures indicate. Perfect location 100m from the promenade with the Port cellars. Bullseye for a Port-wine focused visit to Porto.

Pros: Fantastic location! The flat was full equipped and comfortable.

Pros: Good apartment in the wine related part of the city, clean and big. Very nice place to stay.

Cons: No cups in the number
