Pros: Great stuff and the location was near to every place of interest. The breakfast was marvelous!

Great place to stay

Pros: Great breakfast changed every day. Owner very informative gave us helpful instructions about Porto. Big room on 3rd floor had a separate living room. It was on a noisy street but ok with windows closed

Pros: The breakfasts were amazing and Carina was such an accommodating host. The area was so close to everything. We would stay there again for sure!!

Cons: The pub crawl noise at night was distracting But making sure the windows were closed and turning the fan on helped.

Pros: The apartment was quite large, bright and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was a kitchenette, but without a hob, so it was only used for preparing breakfast. The apartment had great access to the city centre and several attractions.

Cons: There was a fairly busy street with bars below the apartment. The windows were not soundproof so you could hear the noise from the street. We were also woken up in the morning by the cleaning car. There was no air conditioning in the room, so we couldn't keep the windows open.

A lovely, clean hotel in the heart of the city, with delightful daily breakfast baskets.

Pros: A lovely and clean hotel located right in the heart of the city. I especially enjoyed the breakfast basket delivered every morning, filled with fresh bread, juice, fruit, cheese, cold cuts, tea, coffee, and other treats. Each day it came with new tasty surprises, perfect for snacking throughout the day.

Cons: The hotel is on a street where parties go on in the evenings and at night, so for light sleepers I’d recommend earplugs — but apart from that, everything was wonderful!

Great Location nice place

Pros: Super great location and a very nice place, rooms , building and host.

Cons: The top floor rooms were a bit warm during the hot summer ambience ( July)

Perfect location, great breakfast, nice place to stay

Pros: Breakfast was fantastic. Every single day we had a chance to try something new - mainly continental breakfast but always some bits and pieces of the Portugueses specialties. The kitchen had two types of coffee makers, a microwave, a toaster - so fully-equipped. Also we could eat when we wanted as the food was in the fridge/stored in the cupboard - great idea - so we were not tied to a set breakfast time. The room is simple, clean an functional. The bed was comfortable.

Cons: When I booked the room I had no idea that the street ( and the next street) was the centre of parties and night life. The windows close well but still the music/singing could be heard all night long. But at least we had 'free concerts' every night :)

The best accommodation ever!

Pros: We loved everything! The location is phenomenal, and the service is excellent! I think this is the best private accommodation I've ever stayed in. The hostess regularly asked how we were and if we needed anything, and she promptly responded to our requests. An invaluable experience and warm recommendations for this property!

Great host, convenient location

Pros: Very convenient location away from the river. Lots of bars and restaurants, busy at night but the room was quiet Carina was an excellent host giving us good advice as first time in Porto

Pros: The location is in the city center, close to all the tourist attractions and with very good public transport connections. Carina was a very welcoming host and gave me very good advice regarding my stay in Porto.
