Historical Porto Apartment

A wonderfully located apartment that is good value

Pros: Location was excellent for historical centre & walking on top level of the bridge

Cons: There was no folder with basic information. The electricity failed & we had no way to know what was wrong or what to do. Everything is done by WhatsApp which is ok if your phone is working. The cleaner could be more thorough - evidence of previous guests. As with all of Porto, you have to be fit to climb up & down 2 flights of stairs especially at end of day

Perfect base to explore Porto

Pros: The location is perfect to explore the laneways and landmarks of Porto and the old city. The view from the balcony was stunning. Francisco was fabulous and gave us great tips of places to explore. We spent a wonderful few days here. Highly recommend

Pros: Die Lage und der Wohn/ Essbereich waren prima, auch das große Bett war sehr bequem!

Cons: Das Badezimmer war sehr spartanisch.es fehlt eine Aufhängung für Handtücher. Der Toilettensitz war sehr wackelig und eines der schmalen Betten knarzt sehr laut wenn man sich im Bett dreht.

Cozy place with great views.

Pros: Stunning apartment in the middle of Porto with a great view of the balcony. Francesco went out of his way to make us feel welcome and provided lots of great recommendations.

Cons: The location felt quite sketchy at night. It’s very conveniently located and easy to walk to major sights, but when coming home after dark we felt on edge due to demographic around the place and maybe not understanding the true dynamics of this location.

Appartement très central et confortable

Pros: Emplacement très central, appartement privé très spacieux, lumineux, bien décoré. Très bonne literie, y compris pour le lit d'appoint. Bon équipement.

Cons: Travaux dans l'immeuble d'en face en plaine rénovation (entamée depuis plusieurs mois, visiblement, et pour encore de nombreux mois : reconstruction complète de l'immeuble) : l'hôte aurait pu prévenir que nous serions réveillés dès 7h du matin, week-end inclus...

It was fantastic. I’d visit Porto again in a heartbeat, and the apartment was really central.

Pros: Lovely location, great vista from the balcony, very quiet at night. The apartment was funky and had most things we needed. Decent showering facilities, comfortable beds, and a good kitchen area to eat in.

Cons: There were a couple of maintenance points - the curtain rail dislodged first morning of opening, so we couldn’t draw them at night. There were 2 radiators (it was chilly at night); one didn’t work, the other was unstable so we didn’t feel safe leaving it on if we were not in the room. The laminate floors were a bit creaky (was concerned about waking up my earlier-to-bed friend when I was getting ready for bed at night). But these are minor points, overall we had a lovely stay

Ideal para una escapada a Oporto

Pros: Lo mejor del apartamento es sin duda la ubicación, en pleno centro de la ciudad con acceso cómodo tanto a la Ribera como a la zona alta. Oporto tiene muchas cuestas, que son para todos. Las vistas de la parte alta desde el alojamiento son muy buenas.

Cons: Todo estuvo bien

Pros: Super simpáticos e casa muito equipada e confortável, acho que se conseguirem só arranjar o chao do quartode casal mas mesmo assim, está impecavel!!!! Muitos parabens e obrigada

Cons: Estamos perto de tudo no entanto é uma rua onde não é muito bem frequentada, sendo que a noite é muito barulho e pessoas dirigem se mesmo a nos para vender....

Unbedingt nochmal

Pros: Die Lage ist grandios und die Ausstattung absolut passend. Francisco hat uns super entspannt begrüßt und ausgesprochen gute Tips gegeben, was wir sehen sollten und welche Restaurants empfehlenswert sind. 5* für Ihn!
