Oporto River View 2 Bed

Bijou and brilliant! This little Porto gem offered everything we needed for a fabulous city break.

Pros: The location was excellent - mid-way between the city centre and the river, both offering excellent cafe's, restaurants and bars, with a couple of little gems right on our doorstep. The view from the living room was exceptional... there was a small balcony, big enough to sit with a coffee - but sadly Storm Claudia was visiting at the same time as us. However, with full-height french windows, we could enjoy the view and keep dry!

Cons: There were not enough hooks for basics like hanging a wet coat by the door or hanging towels or dressing gowns in the bathroom. There were hand-towel hooks, but higher hooks would have been better. I am being really picky here - but more hooks by the front door, in the bathroom and more than the 3-small hooks in the bedroom would have been really appreciated :-)

Perfect

Pros: The apartment was nice with an excellent view of the Douro river. The walking distance to Ribeira is approximately 7-10 minutes. Across the street is a pub with good food. The bed and bedrooms are OK and comfortable.

Cons: Bathrooms are a little bit too narrow.

Pros: We enjoyed the stay in this apartment in the historical center of Porto. Very confortable, well equiped, cozy and clean. The second toilet room was definetely a bonus. The view from the balconies were great as well. Highly recommended!

Awesome stay in beautiful apartment with stunning views of Porto

Pros: Very clean and spacious, spectacular view, photos did not do it justice. Comfy beds, good shower, felt safe, quiet at night but with nice restaurants and bars nearby. Great location with just a short walk down to the river. Great value for money and would highly recommend!

Cons: No everything was great!

Pros: Great location, nice view from balcony, very comfy bed.

Cons: Unfortunately AC was only in the main room. So in winter days there's no way for heating in the bedrooms. But if you sleep under a blanket it's ok.

Lovely apartment with amazing views in the perfect location

Pros: The apartment has amazing views over the Duoro. It is comfortable and well furnished with comfy beds. The local neighbourhood is great - lovely bars and restaurants round the corner, and a short walk to get to Ribera. Great communication with the owners.

Cons: The lock to the main door is difficult to open and really needs to be changed.

Porto without the crowds

Pros: Perfect position- slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Porto. Comfortable beds, living area with view of the rver

Fun Girls Trip in Nice Apartment

Pros: Property was ideally situated and perfect for a girls trip. We particularly loved the mirror in living room with the stools for all getting ready together. Great views and very comfortable beds.

Cons: The shower had no cover over the drain and I lost my bar of soap down there and also the shower could be doing with having a shelf to sit any soap, razor, shower gel, shampoo etc on especially with a big hole with no drain cover. The front door of building was also very tricky to navigate and I was advised there was a trick to it after standing in street trying door for about 10 mins - would have been nice to know this information upfront.

Pros: The apartment was large enough for the four of us and had two toilets. One in the shower room and one off the lounge (this one was unexpected). The kitchen had good appliances and we were able to cook our breakfast here. The lounge was comfortable and there was space to eat. The host was very quick to respond to any questions we had and helped us access the property. The property was clean, quiet, well resourced (ironing board and iron, hairdryer, etc) and had an exceptional view of the river. It was beautiful to look at this view both by day and night. The central location of the property meant that we could easily access most of the main attractions.
