Virtudes River Views by Porto City Hosts

Perfect short break apartment

Pros: Great location with fab views over the City and the Porto Houses especially at night. Balcony allowed us to enjoy the views with a glass of wine. Modern, clean apartment ideally for a City break or longer. Easy walk to main attractions

Cons: Nothing..

Good value for money at least in winter

Pros: The location is great for exploring Porto. The view from the small balcony is very nice and most attractions are walking distance. Communication with the host was also good. Perfect for 2 people and good value for money. There was a toaster, coffee, shampoo, body wash, and napkins in the apartment.

Cons: There is no TV even though it is listed in the amenities. There seems to be some moisture in the apartment (coming from the heating vents), but it is possible this is the case in all of Porto in wintertime. The hand-held shower was not working and I would have reported it, but I noticed someone here had already pointed it out in their review last summer... The shower also makes a loud sound which did not bother us but might wake up the downstairs neighbors. But honestly, with the price we paid in February, we were satisfied and enjoyed our stay!

Pros: TMH Virtudes was a fantastic place to stay! The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed, plus the view was absolutely stunning. The location was perfect, just a short walk down to the waterfront area, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. The hosts were excellent with communication and even welcomed us with a little drink of port on arrival—a lovely touch. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended for a stay in Porto!

Fantastic apartment, right in the heart of Porto.

Pros: Apartment was AMAZING. Location, comfort of room, views from balcony, friendly owner - all incredible. Nearby bar (with amazing views) was an absolute bonus. Porto a stunning city with views everywhere. Superbock beer at every turn!

Cons: The apartment was superb, but small thing: We arrived early so we were stuck with our luggage for a number of hours waiting at a nearby bar (which wasn't all bad! :)) So, somewhere to store luggage safely for a few hours would have been really appreciated to free us to wander the city (even if it was in the corridor of the apartment). Having said that, the owner checked us in 2 hours early! Thank you for that! :)

Everything was great, and Porto is beautiful!

Pros: Easy communication with Simon to meet at the property to receive the keys. The location is very comfortable, nearby n everything you need. The apartment is comfortable, airy and bright. And the balcony at the back is the best! Internet works great, we were able to work no problem

Cons: Nothing major, the shower leaked into the bathroom and the sink in the bathroom didn't drain very well.

A tiny cute apartment close to attractions, perfect, if you don’t mind noise

Pros: A beautifully decorated tiny apartment with a tiny balcony overlooking Vila Nova da Gaia. We appreciated the air con at night. Great location (although up a steep hill but that’s Porto….) close to most sights and right around the corner from an evening lookout with lots of bars. Good restaurants and cafes all around. Our favourites were Balta Cafe, Morada Brunch and Taberna d’Avo.

Cons: The apartment is right on top of a restaurant that played music until late at night. Soundproofing in the building is bad and we also heard every footstep from the people above us. Just be aware if you are a light sleeper like me. The shower leaks.

Pros: Great location right in local neighbourhood, nice view had all things we needed.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Modern appartment with all you need. Personal touches with nice decorations. Great view from balcony - and in the best area of all; small lovely restaurants few meters away. Young people gathered nearby on a sun set watching spot; nice atmosphere. Quiet at night.

Cons: Stayed as a couple and the male part would have liked a television.

Pros: Anaelle who greeted us was very pleasant, made sure we had everything we needed and was very flexible when our arrival time was delayed. I had a bike with me which required a large taxi and she organised this for us to get to the airport on our departure.

Cons: There was a restaurant downstairs playing vey loud music early evening but this was gone by the time we returned at 10pm
