Liiiving in Porto - Historic Clérigos Apartments

Perfect location and very comfortable apartment

Pros: This apartment was a great find for us. The location is perfect for discovering the city - it's close to everything, so you can walk, but there are also a lot of transport choices if you need them. The street is very quiet in the morning and during the day, and even though it is a popular nightlife area, the windows are so good that you are not disturbed during the night. The flat has everything you need, and the bed was super comfy. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back!

Cons: Everything was great, no complaints.

Pros: The location is excellent - close to many restaurants, cafes, shops, clerigos tower. The staff were very helpful and responsive in helping with a small issue - the wifi provider had an outage and the wifi wasn't working but the staff provided us with a temporary router and this was excellent service. The apartment was clean and comfortable and quite large compared to other similar ones available.

Cons: The street does have a number of bars and clubs including gentleman's clubs. We were not disturbed by noise though.

Pros: Great location. Very close to historic places. Apartment was clean and well furnished.

Cons: Maybe owners should share a video on how to open the number lock. That would help many.

Pros: A very nice place and perfect situated. Clean and very helpful stuff. Nice furniture and very spacious.

Cons: In the night in front of the house where very loud disco until 5 o’clock.

Almost perfect

Pros: We stayed on the last floor apt. Lovely interior design with wooden floor, double windows to make sure it's quiet, a really nice view. Lots of electronics that came in handy.

Cons: Room for improvement: 1. The door needs replacing as somebody tried to break it in the past. 2. No one offered us at least one cleaning service throughout a five-day stay. Plus, we were left with just two sticks of shower gel for five days. (mid-July). 3. No nets on the windows — you might have problems sleeping cause of mosquitos.

Pros: It looks like in the pictures. Perfect location, and staff available.

Cons: Wifi didnt work well

Good central location, especially if you want to party

Pros: Location very central and nice balcony. Same street as KOB restaurant with amazing food and a wonderful weekday menu. Treat yourself and visit this acclaimed restaurant. We would return to an apartment on a lower floor on week nights. Very clean and comfy beds.

Cons: Stairs up three long flights. Saturday night noise until 6am was a killer even though we were at the back of the building. Internet access required to access the apartment was a problem as we do not have roaming European internet and the electronic digital access was an issue.

I would definitely visit again

Pros: The location of the hotel is ideal for a short stay in Porto. Close to all major landmarks, the train station, metro stations, and next to a very lively road full of bars and restaurants. Despite close proximity to city center, it is very very quiet! Also, wifi connection is stable and strong and the facilities are very clean. I have been there two times already and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto.

It was a pleasant stay

Pros: The location was good for getting around. It was clean and airy. Comfortable beds and a nice view despite the many works going on.

Cons: We had experienced a leak from the shower, even with the shower door closed. It was quite cool inside the room, and we couldn’t get our clothes dry.

Pros: The location is great, close to the bay and at the centre of the city. The place is spacious, relatively cheap and the staff were more than happy to help with any issues. I had to extend my stay by one day and the process was seamless.
