Inn Oporto Old Town Apartments

Exceptional service from hosts in a wonderful, well maintained apartment. Be wary of the late night partying noise level

Pros: Exceptional host, including welcome and intro to Porto. Spacious and clean apartment in central location

Cons: Wasn’t prepared for the partying/noise levels all through the night esp Thursday-Sat nights near the Sao Bento station. The window shutters didn’t block the sound. Turns out the hosts had provided us with ear plugs but I was unaware of this until later in the stay. Would have been helpful to have been fully prepared for this . Also view out of windows wasn’t appealing (not like the photos) as we looked down on a city construction project

Pros: Fernando was super responsive and helpful. We arrived late at night and he organised an airport pick up for us. He also shared info on where to store our luggage after check out. The apartment is in an amazing location, central to everything. Air conditioning worked really well and made the stay very comfortable.

Cons: Please provide more pillows! Or replace the existing ones :)

Pros: The apartment is nice and clean, located next to the railway station and right in the city center. The beds are comfortable and the overall standard is good.

Cons: However, as of May 2025 there is major construction work taking place right outside the apartment (a new Metro station) generating much noise both day and (sometimes at) night. You will need good earplugs in order to sleep, and if you are a light sleeper you certainly should consider other options.

Pros: Joana met us on arrival to give us keys and show us around. She also provided us with some useful information about attractions and restaurants for our stay

We had a fabulous time, great weather, lovely place to spend a few days

Cons: Would have liked some hanging space for twin bedroom

Pros: Great location, right in the centre which meant it was perfect walking distance to everything. Really clean and well presented apartment. Lovely host!

Cons: The noise. As it was so central, the noise at night was pretty intense and interrupted all our sleep. There is also works going on outside to build a new metro stop, so this was also very noisy. The host did provide ear plugs.

Pros: Central location, very comfortable with all the amenities needed for our stay. Great communication from the host.

Cons: A little noisy with the roadwork outside.

Pros: The location is actually very good. Unfortunately, there is construction going on downstairs. It was the city festival on June 23, so it was very noisy. Fortunately, the landlord prepared earplugs for us.

Cons: No washing machine or place to hang clothes There is no elevator. This cannot be changed, but the landlord helped me move my luggage.

Pros: Exceptional location. Stunning apartment that was big enough for 4 adults travelling together. We had a very comfortable stay.

Cons: The external front door is graffitied and gives the wrong impression of the beautiful apartments inside.
