The flat generally met all of our needs.

Pros: The location was great and easy to get to the tube into town. The flat was lovely, clean, spacious and well equipped with everything you need.

Cons: The main bedroom on the mezzanine wasn't particularly private or quiet when people in the other bedroom were using the bathroom or going up and down stairs. Barking dogs in the neighbourhood were irritating but not much you could do about it. The routine for leaving the keys at the end wasn't great. Would be very difficult to open all the doors to the street while locking them and leaving the keys on your own.

Pros: The property had everything. All the amenities you can think of (fridge freezer, washing machine, dish washer, 2 coffee machines, etc etc). The property was also close to shops and restaurants and the city centre. There are plenty of superlatives to describe this place, but let it suffice to say that it is excellent.

Clean modern quiet apartment close to Porto center

Pros: This is a wonderful, modern two stories apartment in a new building that sits among old houses in a quiet street - and still is just 100 meters from a main road and 4 minutes away from the metro D line. It is fully equipped, well lighted, spacious and could easily house two intimate couples or a family of 5-6. It is well lighted and you can open the windows or the AC as you please. Free parking in the street just outside the door. Very good value for money.

Pros: Jeronimo communicated with us from the outset and gave lots of information in advance of our stay. The apartment is in an Excellent location, really short walking distance to metro if you don't want to walk to the main area, but 15 minutes downhill otherwise 😀 Thanks for the early check-in, and Bruno, who gave the keys, was very nice and gave us lots of tourist information and explained how everything worked. The apartment has all you would need for a long or short stay. It felt very secure and was quiet. Great shower and lots of pressure and hot water. We didn't use too much in the apartment as we were out, but the beds were super comfy with lots of pillows. Some lovely little cafe nearby that offered simple breakfast, which was so cheap, lots of locals eating and the friendliest staff. I would have no hesitation in recommending and would definitely stay again if in Porto.

Pros: Very close to metro, and a nice walk down to the busy areas. Very comfortable and clean apartment. Host was very helpful.

Pros: Jéronimo, notre hôte, nous a personnellement accueillis et remis les clés. Il a pris le temps de nous expliquer le fonctionnement de l'appartement et nous a donné d'excellents conseils de visite, dans un français parfait. L'appartement est lumineux, moderne, très grand et fonctionnel, avec toilettes à chaque étage. Nous avons vraiment aimé l'emplacement, dans une rue secondaire du Centre ville, proche des commerces (supérette à 50m), des transports en commun (juste à côté) mais pourtant très calme. L'hyper centre peut être rejoint en 10-15mn à pied ou plus rapidement encore en métro. Il est possible de se garer gratuitement dans la rue en bas de la résidence même s'il faut parfois tourner un peu pour trouver une place (au final, fin juillet, nous avons toujours trouvé assez rapidement à moins de 50m de l'appartement).

Pros: Lage sehr gut - sehr nah zur nächsten Metro-Station (mit sehr guter Verbindung zu einem Hauptknotenpunkt) und sehr ruhig in einem reinen Wohngebiet gelegen, dh. Schlafen mit offenem Fenster! - nur manchmal hört man die Möwen und fühlt sich wie direkt an der Küste :-))) Top die Küchenausstattung und die Klimaanlage im Dachgeschoss - allerdings nur im großen (Haupt)Schlafzimmer. TOP auch, dass die Abwicklung eines Straf(Park)Tickets, welches wir am letzten Tag am Auto hatten, unkompliziert über den Gastgeber lief, da wir schon abreisen mussten und keine Überweisung vom Ausland via IBAN an die Behörde möglich war - so hat er das übernommen und ich konnte es ihm problemlos überweisen: Service much appreciated!!!

Cons: Fehlendes Licht und Strom am Bett des 2. Schlafzimmers - aber das habe ich dem Gastgeber mitgeteilt; er hat sich für den Hinweis bedankt und wird das Fehlen eines Kabels und einer Lampe gleich beheben!
