Beautiful apartment in a very good location

Pros: Claire was very nice and responsive. The apartment is very clean and spacious. The building has a small garden accessible to all guests. We could enjoy a coffee and some nice pastries in the morning sun. The location was very good for us, in a rather calm area. However the city centre is reachable on foot and there are good restaurants / cafes in the area.

Cons: For the two of us it was perfect, however we didn’t use the bed upstairs in the mezzanine because for a taller person it was impossible to sit on the bed without hitting the wall. We felt that for four adults it can be slightly uncomfortable.

An interesting and comfortable stay in a quieter part of Porto.

Pros: Beautiful building and garden. Very clean and comfortable. Metro station just across the road. The area is far less crowded and cleaner than central Porto. We highly recommend a visit to the Botanical Gardens.

Cons: We couldn’t find a corkscrew to open a bottle of wine or some scissors to open a food packet. Not a huge problem..and one I’m sure could be easily fixed.

Relaxing because everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable and Carla was very happy to help with any questions

Pros: Welcome from Carla was excellent and Housekeeper was very friendly. Great space. Spotlessly clean. Discovered 2 beautiful bathrobes Jin the wardrobe. Carla was very helpful and managed to book a table for us in a recommended restaurant which was otherwise fully booked. The garden was great although we didn’t get time to make us of it.

Cons: Only one very small issue. The fan was very noisy so we couldn’t leave it on overnight….it was a bit uncomfortably warm…we come from a cooler part of the world! Otherwise… beautiful accommodation

Excellent Hospitality - Great Value

Pros: Everything to love about this place. Very tastefully restored historical building. Carla is a wonderful and welcoming host. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place.

Cons: I can’t criticise anything.

Pros: Carl'a was so hospitable and helpful. We stayed in the Emmerico apartment, very well laid out , comfortable, fabulous quiet air con.and a lovely terrace. with all round sun . There was also a beautiful garden to use.It was a 25 min walk into town but we enjoyed that taking in the surroundings. Metro just over the road and Ubers readily available. The nearest beach is about 3 miles away but walkable or you can take a bus /Uber /tram. Tram 1 from Sao Francisco church takes you to the Foz region, which has beautiful beaches. We will definitely be back at some point.

Very good week in Porto

Pros: Good size very clean apartment. Cleaning was done regularly on request. Location was ok, but approximately 30 min walk to central locations. Standard of apartment incl equipment very good

Cons: Noise from wooden floors in apartment above. See regular previous comments. Equipment list on Booking.com not aligned with facts. E.g washing machine and dryer specified in kitchen. In fact one for whole building in a shed in the garden

Pros: location & good facilities & size of the room. indoor & outdoor seating options & good apartment space. efficient & friendly Carla.

Cons: needed ventilation & storage in the bathroom to put toilet bags & clothes while showering
