FLH Porto Clérigos Luxury Apartments

Nice apartment in an excellent location.

Pros: Excellent location and staff were very helpful. Very spacious and light.

Cons: No hooks anywhere for coats and especially towels! (this seems to be the case in nearly every hotel or accommodation we stay in why???). Only a few hangers in both bedrooms. No toilet roll holders in all 3 of the toilets. No normal glasses in the kitchen and no saucepans, etc... One of the blinds in the living room not working (they did know and were waiting for it to be fixed!). Only one cushion on the sofa and not super comfortable.

Centrally located, Comfortable beds-Would stay again

Pros: The location was excellent and within walking distance. Construction outside but that seemed to be in a few areas in the city so no fault of the property. Beds and pillows were so comfortable. Would have loved to have a second key. Safe apartment and area.

Cons: Only one key we didn't ask for a second so not sure if it was possible. Especially as we had 2 couples and some wanted to stay out later than others. Smell in the lift was not pleasant bad sewerage not sure if it was due to works outside. The sofa in the living area not comfortable and did notice a few flaws.

Location, but lacks

Pros: Spacious apartment, good location. Could have rated better, but lacking in comfort details.

Cons: Only one key provided for 2 couples- very annoying. There was no place to hang towels(hooks or rails) or a place for shampoo and soap in shower, we had to leave on floor. There was a dishwasher, but no dishwashing liquid. There was a washing machine, but no detergent. Etc.

Would have been an excellent stay if able to hang towels, laundry and shower gels.

Pros: Apartment is newly renovated. Very spacious. 3 toilets + 2 showers. Comftable beds. Excellent location. can walk to most attractions in Porto. quite quiet despite the construction work outside the apartment

Cons: No place to put shampoo, bath gel in the shower. No place to hang towel and clothes in the shower. No place to place toilet paper in the toilet. When showering, door cannot close properly and water flows out. No clothes airer to hang laundry.

Comfortable and fun place to stay with all good locations in a walking distance.

Pros: Spacious, location was superb, well maintained. There was some problem with kettle and they immediately replaced with a new one. So people taking care of the property are very good!

Cons: Minor things- 2 blinds were not working. No space in washroom to keep toiletries. Placement of toilet in second room.

Fabulous apartment marred only by lack of kitchen essentials eg cups, bowls etc.

Pros: Once we found the reception location - 15 minute walk away - key collection was easy. It is a beautiful and spacious apartment, with a great location. Very quiet, great air conditioning, and light/airy. Some aspects were disappointing - see below.

Cons: Fabulous coffee machine - but only wine glasses were provided.....!! We stayed for 7 days and asked on 3 occasions for some coffee cups but nothing arrived. Eventually we found some paper cups in a supermarket and had to use those. very little else provided in the kitchen - just wine glasses and cutlery.

We had a fabulous stay at this apartment. Excellent location too. 10/10

Pros: Very easy to collect the keys and we were able to get into the apartment early. The key collection office was located ten minutes walk away - thankfully downhill too!

Pros: It would be nice to put toilet brushes in the toilets. Also hook to hang the towels after you use them would make this beautiful flag even more perfect.

Amazing! Can’t complain

Pros: The apartment was so spacious and amazing. There are 2 en-suite bedrooms with showers and toilets and another bathroom aswell. They have a modern kitchen with waterfall island, lots of pans and equipment, good appliances, sofas, table and plenty of chairs with places to sit. It’s huge. The toilet and shower in the bedrooms have clear glass. It’s very modern but if you are sharing with family / friends this might be an issue. It’s really nice for a romantic stay. There are electric blinds and fast phone chargers by the beds too. Very fancy. We were all impressed. We didn’t have a hairdryer in the property but Joao got us a brand new hairdryer within a couple hours whilst we were exploring and we arrived to one. Easy to contact if you need anything via WhatsApp with quick responses. Really helpful staff.

Cons: The only complaint was that on arrival our key didn’t work. Joao was a real help and went back and forth to the welcome centre to try and help us and got us into the apartment. This was quite frustrating as we lost an hour of our day waiting at our front door. Joao was speaking to a women on the phone (Margaret?) who we could hear was talking over him and not listening to him even though the phone was far from us. It was a bit frustrating but when we got into the property it was brilliant. The shower water also got cold after 3 / 4 of us showered but not sure if the boilers are just smaller than the UK or if we took longer than the average person! :)

Pros: Location is close to the São Bendo Station Easy to access the local rail system

Cons: constructions around the apartment and the São Bendo station and also the strike of railroad workers during 4/6 to 5/7. trains are cancelled and Uber rates rocketing almost double and hard to get.
