Amazing Penthouse Apartment in historic Porto

Great place, great location

Pros: The apartment feel like brand new, the location is nearby many restaurants and cafes, no issues with safety (like in all the historical area of Porto), and you’re near to most of the tourist attractions

Cons: You need to go up the stairs since it’s a penthouse so if you have a lot of luggage might be slightly annoying for you.

Gorgeous stay in Porto

Pros: Brilliant gem in the heart of Oporto. A stone's throw from all the must sees. Apartment is up a few flights of stairs (not an issue for us or our kids) but is absolutely beautifully styled with loads of space and everythinng you need. Hosts were amazing and we felt incredibly well taken care of

Cons: Beds in main room were set up as singles which was odd for a couple with kids but we pushed them together no drama. Note the stairs to access the apartment (this is normal in historic towns). Otherwise nothing to complain about.

Really excellent apartment and location, would definitely recommend and use again for a return visit

Pros: Great location and spacious and clean apartment. Little touches made the difference on arrival, with some essentials in the fridge and cupboards to get us started for our stay. Much appreciated.

Cons: The only (small) thing missing was an airer for drying our clothes as we booked somewhere with washing machine for our stay. Everything else was perfect!

Book it if it's available!

Pros: Location Location Location! This was fabulous, to have two balconies we could sit on, so much space and so many facilities (including a washing machine) was great. The hosts Elspeth and Claudio had thought of everything.

Cons: Nothing 🙂

Pros: It was in a good location for the historic centre and the railway station was 5 minutes walk away, which was great. The apartment was very spacious,modern,high quality fittings, lovely bed and bedding. The 2 verandas were great and you could see over the lovely rooftops and hear the bells chiming at the local church. We had a lovely stay here and would definitely recommend it for a couple,

Cons: Small issue was the stairs, 4 flights up, but it meant you had the lovely views

Pros: Everything was clean and comfortable! Air conditioning worked like a charm! Great style, no IKEA furniture!

Cons: Only negative is the approach through a very stinky and questionable tunnel/street with drug addicts hanging about right outside the door to this apartment. Quite scary/uncomfortable especially at night. But, of course, the owners of the property can't do much about this I assume.

Pros: Fantastic apartment. Very clean and tidy and spacious. Renovated and modern but retains traditional features. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. We also appreciated the 2 terraces. One great for laundry and the other very good for dinners with the sunset. Hosts very available for all needs. I recommend following their instructions in case of arriving by taxi. We arrived by taxi but it is possible to arrive and park nearby with a private vehicle even though it is located in a central area. There are a few stairs to walk to reach the apartment but the view will be worth it

Gorgeous penthouse apartment

Pros: Beautiful, spacious apartment in the Middle of the city

Cons: As several other people have mentioned there are a number of drug users hanging around the tunnel next to the apartment, they didn’t cause us any problems but are a bit off putting

Location, spacious and with excellent facilities.

Pros: Very clean, exceptionally spacious and very well located to get to all the sights in the old town. The kitchen and laundry had all that we needed. The balconies were a great place to start the day and unwind after a day of touring. Our hosts also provided us with a very helpful electronic visitors guide.

Cons: The stairs with luggage - but we knew about them beforehand. Pack light!

Pros: We loved the apartment! Perfect place you want to spent your time in. Great location and view.
