ORM - Saraiva de Carvalho Apartments

Excellent no frills appartment.

Pros: Spacious for our group, location is pure perfection.

Cons: Furniture tired, beds very hard, air con in lounge was poor.

Very good location, can be noisy due to single glazed windows.

Pros: Good location, less than 5 min walk from metro and the Louis I bridge. Everything was in walking distance. Working residential elevator so didn't have to climb stairs which this stay was located on the 4th floor. Host communications was excellent

Cons: The windows/ doors to the balcony view were like single glazed so alot of noise comes through, considering the location was on a busy street. Didn't matter as much as we were out most of the time but sleeping can be an issue.

Pros: Really clean and ideal location between the river and night life areas.

Close to Cathedral and Ponte Luis I

Pros: great location close to Luis the first Bridge and São Bento station

Cons: Second bed on top is hard to get to

Pros: Very central and accessible. Funicular that goes down/up from the riverside is just a few steps away. Communication with host was fast and helpful

An enjoyable apartment in a very convenient location.

Pros: The location was fantastic, we walked to all the wonderful centuries old buildings and loved the history, the apartment was reasonably comfortable and clean, a lift.

Cons: No lighting convenient to the beds, no bed side tables, kitchen plates etc were at the bottom of the cupboard and difficult to reach, a washing machine would have been preferable to a dishwasher, the toaster was impossible to reach without climbing up on a chair - a small ladder would have been appreciated.

We had a lovely stay; great location, hosts were excellent. We'd definitely stay again!

Pros: Super easy instructions on how to access the front door and key box. Great location and walking distance to everywhere. Hosts were excellent with their communication. Huge shower was also a nice bonus.

Cons: As other reviews mention, lugging your case up 4 flights of stairs when you first arrive is a bit challenging, and the stairwells are fairly dark in the evening.

Pros: The location! The location was perfect. It was walking distance to bakeries restaurants, local shops, and some attractions.

Cons: The lift for the apartment wasn't working. Climbing 4 flights of stairs each time we went and in and out was exhausting at times.

Cute little loft situation.

Pros: Cute little place with everything we needed for our stay. Bed was kind of in a loft situation which was unique. Shower and bathroom were fantastic. Location was perfect- close enough to all areas and easy to get around.

Good value for price in great location.

Pros: Great location, within walking distance of all the key attractions. Key code to enter building and key in key box so easy to check in.

Cons: No storage to put away bags etc. Little adjustments like TV too low to watch in bed easily, shower door slightly too big to close.
