Pros: Excellent location convenient for walking to the Cais de Gaia, Jardim do Morro, Gaia wine cellars and Gaia avenue restaurants. Easy public transport access nearby for Metro, bus and suburban rail too. Washer/Dryer, oven hob, clothes airer, heater and Nespresso coffee machine provided

Cons: Wasn't a problem for me but if you stay here you should be ok with walking up steep hills! (Although these are unavoidable in Porto anyway!)

Fantastic Location

Pros: Great Location...Diego was waiting for us when we arrived very friendly and chatty gave us great tips on arrival and where to go...very clean! Diego one tip...I wanted a cup of tea you had no Mugs to drink from just small coffee ones! But hopefully next time on my next stay you will have one for me! Definitely recomend and of course will stay again!

A very comfortable apartment in the heart of Gaia - with a pool!

Pros: Diego was a fabulous host. He met us with the keys, gave us a tour of the apartment and pool area, and gave us some wonderful tips for our stay. The apartment is clean and exactly as you see in the photos. The air con works well, and the pool / shared facilities are very well maintained.

Cons: As you will see in other reviews, it can be noisy at night (the cars on the cobblestones are loud plus there was a lot of noise and creaking of floorboards from above at 5:30am one morning!). Knowing this we came prepared with earplugs and so it caused us no problems at all!

Excellent stay

Pros: The owner Diego greeted us in person, gave us a tour of the apartment as well as lots of tips of where to eat, what to see etc in Porto. There was an issue with internet that he quickly take care of. Thank you Diego.

Cons: An aspect that is out of control of the owner is unfortunately the neigbors. For the first couple of days we had someone in the apartment above us who was coming home at 2AM making sure everyone was aware of it. Luckily the next 2 days our neighbors were well-behaved.

Tranquila

Pros: Perto de tudo, bem localizado, com condições para preparação de refeições autonomamente. Usufruimos da piscina. O Anfitrião foi muito prestável. Apartamento limpo, com toalhas disponíveis, e produtos de higiene. Utensílios de cozinha e máquina de café nespresso. Tudo muito positivo.

Cons: Tivemos o azar de ouvir muito barulho vindo do apartamento de cima, mas isto não é diretamente relacionado com o alojamento em si.

Pros: Sehr netter und guter Kontakt zu Diego, dem Vermieter. Gutes Bett, sehr sauber, Nespressomaschine. Alles fußläufig, wenn man gut den Berg hoch laufen kann. Kleine Restaurants und Kneipchen in der Rua dos Reis mit fairen Preisen

Cons: Schlafen nur bei geschlossenen Fenstern, da direkter Autoverkehr (Einbahnstraße) vorm Haus

cute place to stay

Pros: we love the place, very nice location, 7-10 minutes from Metro, walkable over the bridge to all main attractions absolutely adorable host, very comfortable place to stay as a couple

Cons: it can be quite loud from neighbors and cars, even during night, even with closed windows.

Besides walking uphill a lot coming from Colorado altitude it wasn’t bad.

Pros: Diego was the nicest person we ever met as a renter. He explained everything and suggested some great places that we took advantage of. Would rent again when we come back to this beautiful country.

Cons: Had to get instructions on how to actually use washer/dryer combo. Not that we didn’t like having it.

Ubicación ideal

Pros: La ubicación es perfecta. Aunque está en una calle en cuesta y hay que subir bastante, la propia calle tiene tabernas dónde desayunar, comer, cenar...supermercados de barrio y bajando la cuesta apareces directamente en la ribiera de Gaia, puedes cruzar el puente por debajo y llegar a Oporto comodamente andando, o andar la calle hacia arriba y cruzar por la parte alta del puente. Está muy bien ubicado para disfrutar de Gaia y de Oporto comodamente. Llegamos de noche y el anfitrión, Diego, nos recibió, nos dio todas las indicaciones del apartamento y un montón de consejos para la estancia. La piscina no es muy grande, como se ve en la foto, pero suficiente para disfrutarla con niños o adolescentes al final de una jornada de callejeo, siempre la encontramos tranquila y con poca gente, cosa que se agradece. El apartamento super limpio, con todo lo necesario y la cama amplia y super cómoda.

Ottima base sia per Porto che per le cantine!

Pros: il nostro host Diego è stato super disponibile e gentile dandoci ogni dritta possibile. Il contesto è la posizione è ottimale sia per Porto che per Vila Nova ed il giro delle cantine, anzi lo consiglio come base perchè si ha la possibilità di vedere porto e la Ribeira dall'altra parte del fiume e c'è la possibilità di godere di un tramonto strepitoso.

Cons: Purtroppo abbiamo lasciato le scarpe sullo zerbino fuori dall'appartamento ed al mattino non c'erano più. Non è colpa della struttura ma solo un avvertimento a non sottovalutare il rischio frodi. Piscina non pulita
