Oporto Home - Wine Cellars

Pros: Everything was wonderful, I highly recommend this apartment. I have no comments or complaints. Location: 10/10 Cleanliness: 10/10 There is a lot of space in the apartment; it is perfect for a family with a small child.

Pros: The location was the main reason to choose this apartment, also the view from the balcony. I like the design also. This apartment is ideal for few days stay in Gaia or Porto.

Cons: Yes, there are mold is some places (bathroom, curtain, around windows), as mentioned on Google, but not smell until our visit. Consider this, if you are not familiar with this. On Booking there is nothing about mold, only on Google, but I ordered the apartment before reading the comments on Google. The view to Porto from the balcony is so nice, than I do not bother about mold.

Oporto wine cellars apartments

Pros: We were attending a wedding and booked this as it was very close to venue . Location perfect on the quieter side of the river . Close to bars restaurants supermarket and of course the wine cellars ! Comfortable apartments we booked 2 which were both located on top floor so it was fantastic for our family , access via lift which was well appreciated as Porto is very hilly city ! But beautiful worth the climb . The staff were available 24/7 and were very helpful with any requests . Comfy bed sofa a bit hard but hey you’re not staying in to lounge around ! Lovely gesture we had a bottle of vino and box of cookies on our arrival . We spent a week here no complaints

Cons: The property was perfect for us , however sometimes the uber cabs could not locate us but we walked a few steps 50 metres to bottom of road by river and then there was no issues .

Cons: we were there in early March - i would prefer to have extra blanket. but there is air conditioning so you won’t be chilling

Nice room, correct price/quality ratio

Pros: Nicely renovated building in walking distance to Gaia's touristic spots. Easily accessible, flexible check-in. The room is pretty nice. There were prepared coffee capsules in number of my mornings (it's a life saviour as in Gaia nothing opens before 10 am). The room was nice and mostly clean. Fridge was plugged in so it was already cold inside. Lighting has various setup options according to every needs, and the room can be fully darkened thanks to the windowsheets. In the bathroom there were enough toilet paper, the water was warm enough while soap, shampoo and towels are prepared. Bed is comfortable.

Cons: Noise cancelling inside the building is below average. There was no sheet on the ironing board. The bedsheet had some dirt patch on it. The wardrobe is not high enough to store a long coat properly.

Very lovely place to stay at that is very close to all the important landmarks in the city.

Pros: The location of the property was really great, next to all the wine cellars, restaurants and the Dom Luís I Bridge which was easy to access other parts of the city. Accessing the property was easy as we were provided two codes. One for the entrance and one for the room so we did not have to carry any keys which was convenient. The room we stayed at was quite spacious, clean and comfortable, so it was easy to unwind after exploring the city all day. The host provided complimentary wine and biscuits for free which was really nice also!

Cons: Could have done with more toilet paper and towel replacements especially if you're staying for more than a few days or a week even. It's possible the staff could provide this if you request this from them but I have stayed in other hotels that would replace the towels every other day. There was also a strong smell at night possibly coming from drains but I was able to clear this out by opening windows and turning on the AC for a bit.

Pros: The location was perfect and the staff were amazing and helpful.

Cons: Some of the walls had some mold

Recommended

Pros: No need to wait for someone with the keys, everything is digital. A lovely stay almost in the city centre but be ready to walk a lot to get to the closest supermarket as Porto is a hilly area. There are lots of cafes and bars on the embankment located nearby. There was a bottle of Portuguese wine and local traditional cookies left as a nice welcome gift. There is also a cute terrace but the weather was not very suitable for outdoor leisure, maybe next time ;)

Cons: Some hooks are missing in the entrance area.

Pros: Location terrific right by the Riverside on South Bank of Duoeo near all the Port lodges! Room comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay.

Cons: Very cold which is probably fine in the summer but in April felt unpleasant.
