It is a very good stay

Pros: The place was well maintained, designed and spacious!

Cons: The air con wasn’t able to heat up and the soundproofing of the place isn’t the best.

Pros: Beautiful apartament in center location. Very comfortable bed.

Good choice

Pros: Convenient location for local restaurants and short walk to old town. It’s a good clean place. There is a shared washing machine, gratis.

Cons: The car parking was a bit uncertain as it is a public car parking unreserved. The first one we tried was full but we found another one not far away.

Modern, comfortable and well located

Pros: The property was modern and well equipped for a short stay. There was a kitchen, crockery, Nespresso and dining table. The shower was well lit and and had good water pressure. Soap/shampoo was provided. It was centrally located 10 min walk to Trindade metro station and 6 min walk to Praça de Leões, Livraria Lello and the Carmo Church. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants in the area.

Cons: There was a bit of a funky smell in the room (Ribeira) which we put to down to the fact that it was the city’s poor sanitation system. Seemed to be coming from the bathroom and we encountered the same smell in some toilets at restaurants we visited in the area. It would be good to have an air freshener in the room

Pros: Nice, big and clean apartment. Very good location in quiet area and at the same time quite close to the city centre. Communication with the agency fast and simple.

A long weekend was perfect to get a flavour of this run down, but charming city.

Pros: The apartment was in an area that was handy for the metro station and for nightlife. It was near enough to the historical centre to walk to most of the tourist destinations. From the outside the building looked run-down, but the interior was modern and homely.

Cons: The need to go to another location in order to register was a bit of a bind. But the information we obtained there was vital to our stay.
