Cozy and well located

Pros: For me, it’s very good as it’s near my family house, and instead of being small, it’s a very clean place with everything I need. This is the third time I’ve stayed here, and I would definitely stay again.

Very enjoyable. Good location for services.

Pros: I liked the personal touches like water in the fridge, some commodities. The property had a loved feel & it was easy to relax.

Cons: The noise from the busy street meant it was less peaceful than what I would have liked but the internal facilities helped to compensate.

Excellent

Pros: I wanted accomodation near the train and busstation Campanhã. That was perfenct. The accomodation looked new and very beautifully furnishes. The airco was ok, the bed was good, the linnen beautiful. There was fresh water in the fridge. The instructions were very clear and contact with the administrator easy.

Cons: I would advise to put some kind of coloured poster on the outside fence, because from outside it looks ugly and degradated. That is actually a pitty.

A homely and welcome small stay in Porto

Pros: Great room and en-suite - brilliant shower! Monica has provided a small kitchen and social space - which we used. It’s good to meet other travellers and share stories. We didn’t have time to sit outside but the small patio would be useful for those staying longer. It’s a well organised and very clean property. With just three rooms it’s was quiet and peaceful, despite the busy road outside. Monica’s directions and communications before the stay were very helpful. And Casa d’Avo is only 7 mins from Porto Campanhã station - there is a rear entrance/ exit.

Cons: Casa d’Avo is on a busy and fairly narrow road, which initially is a bit alarming. The pavement is narrow too. Some neighbouring properties are run down or empty. However, we felt safe and had no problems at all. Approaching the property from the river we could see that the area is developing, with large residential blocks close by.

Cosy

Pros: Everything clean and the host was always available.

Cons: - there was a noise in the bathroom. I let them know about that. They said they will check it out. - the closest bus was the 404, but it wasn’t so frequent. The metro station was like more than 10 minutes walking. Ir wasn’t that bad

Pros: Very very clean room, close enough to town - I walked there everyday with no problem.

A fantasic host and perfect place for your trip to Porto!

Pros: The welcome and attention. Monica left us to our own but was always paying attention to us and ensuring that we have everything we need. Everything was super-clean, new and cozy. I fully recommend it!

Enjoyable, happy,practical, efficient.

Pros: The location is near the Gondomar stadium where I need to be.Also close to Porto. The owner is friendly and eager to always quertious to be helpful.The property is Bright New.

Cons: With a little effort could be a nice green yard outside.....for the summer months.

Clean, cheap and cheerful

Pros: The host was excellent. The room was amazingly clean and adequate and the living area was spacious and pleasant. The kitchen was super clean with plenty of little extras. It was quiet throughout the night.

Cons: It's at the bottom of a very steep hill. So there's no problem descending but you'd have to be fit to ascend. However there is a bus that's only a two minute walk up the hill from the apartment that goes to the train station and the city centre.
