Pros: The rooms and apartments are v nice, well equipped and tastefully decorated. The house is also very nice, with beautiful gardens and a v good location. But the reason that makes me booking Koolhouse whenever I go to Porto is that the staff are impeccable and super accommodating.

Excellent communication, professional and efficient management, v good house and location.

Pros: I needed a two single beds room and Koolhouse had not received this request. I contacted them and my room was upgraded to a two bedroom apartment.

Pros: No brek at bakers, closed for fiesta. Went into town.

Cons: I found a scolopendra in the bathroom but it was perfectly clean. Loved the room and the beautiful wooden staircase. Every thing worked. Perfect for me!

Pros: When standing outside on the street looking at the old building and iron gates we were quite apprehensive but as soon as we entered the gate code and door code we were mightily relieved. The inside our room was very modern (rm102) and fitted out with disabled access. Bathroom had everything. Tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge were also in the room. There was a small terrace which opened onto a lovely garden.

Cons: The shared kitchen was rather spartan, a microwave, double hotplate and toaster, but no conventional oven.

Pros: Good location, very comfortable & a garden to sit out in , so close to the main drag.

Comfy beds, clean, easy and good value for money.

Pros: The bed was super comfortable! The best I slept in ever, I think. Self check in and out was easy. The room was nice and clean. The windows had good sound isolation. The room had a high ceiling and high big windows. The only small thing we didn’t like was that the cost of the parking behind the garden provided by the hotel was too high.

Moody tenement in Porto.

Pros: Atmospheric tenement house. We felt like we were in a house run by a mysterious poltergeist. That's the type of mood. It fits Porto very well. We really liked the simply furnished room. And the very high ceilings, which gave it even more space. Comfortable balcony, which was always cooler than the street. Bathroom slightly below standard. Comfortable parking space is at the back of the garden. The metro station is quite a walk away and it's probably better to use buses. The stop is right in front of the building. We rested comfortably there, after a whole day of walking around Porto. It was nice.

Loud neighbours but otherwise great stay

Pros: Except the soundproofing ( from outside it was ok but from inside of the building we got woken up at 6am by some very noise people), very comfy and nice!
