Rivoli Cinema Hostel

Really great stay, will definitely stay again if in Porto!

Pros: The location was excellent, the breakfast was good and the facilities were clean and well maintained. Different activities such as hostel dinners or walking tours that they are linked with is great for those who are travelling solo.

Cons: My key card didn’t always work to get into the room but always worked fine with the lockers.

Wonderful, will be back.

Pros: The most helpful staff, and friendly people generally. Lovely, clean facilities and always snacks available, fruit etc. and free breakfast was very nice. Felt safe, welcome and relaxed. Good for older, lone travellers.

Cons: Decor is cute but a bit silly and dated now. I didn't like the sticks in oil jar used to scent my room, but put it outside and opened window. Lovely view!

Overall good, great staff, but the bathroom situation was coed.

Pros: really comfortable, great location, breakfast was good, stable wifi worked throughout the hostel.

Cons: the bathrooms (showers and toilet) are co-ed even though i booked a girls only dormitory. I thought this was odd and I didn’t care much for it.

Pros: perfect location, value-for-money breakfast, room is small, but very quiet; no outside noises + roomates were respectful. The staffs were very friendly. I liked the movie night that they have every night.

Amazing hostel

Pros: I loved this hostel. The rooms only had 2 bunkbeds, there were enough bathrooms. Everything was clean and there was enough choice for the breakfast. There was also fruit and cake for if you wanted a snack during the day. The staff was super nice and did their best to make sure you had a good time. It has a housy vibe. The location was also perfect, close to the old town, metro, bus stop and supermarkets. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in Porto.

Perfect location, high quality bedbunks, clean & spacious!

Pros: I stayed here a few times and I can recommend almost everything! The spacious, light and clean kitchen. The shared living room has enough space to find a great cozy spot for yourself. The movienights, the perfect location, yet almost no city noise! Solid and spacious bed bunks with curtains, little shelfs, a socket, and a light.

Cons: One thing that would make the stay almost perfect would be 'improving' or resolving the vinegar like smell in the dorms, as your clothes start to smell like that as well.

Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. Especially Tamara. Lots of options within the hostel for entertainment. Great location. Room was a great size with wardrobes and air con. Breakfast was plentiful. Rooftop bar would be great in summer

Cons: No complaints. Loved it. Bur fyi for others: No lift so must carry bags up (which is the norm for most of europe) Shared bathrooms are unisex (not a problem for me but worth mentioning)

Pros: this was an amazing stay. the hostel is in a perfect location and is close to just about everything. the staff were all very nice and were willing to answer any questions we had. the breakfasts had a lot to offer and we could even make pancakes. we stayed in a private room and we had AC and our own little balcony. it was very comfortable and i would definitely come again. we also took the opportunity to do the walking tours that the hostel offers and it was well worth it.

Cons: the upstairs just had a slight smell to it, but other than that all was good!
