Wouldn't mind living here

Pros: The host was very responsive to messages. The apartment is nicely finished & furnished and the host left us coffee pods and essentials like dish and hand soap. The apartment is quiet and in a great location, just outside, but near enough to main attractions.

Cons: Ideally guests should be able to access the back terrace, from the bedroom with the two double beds, without having to disturb the guests using the bedroom with a double bed.

Honest review by 3 senior ladies

Pros: Bright airy apartment, well positioned near the Bolhao metro, Bolhao market, Rua de Caterina, eateries and supermarket. Adequate for a 7 night stay for 3 senior ladies but you need to negotiate steps before the lift on first floor . Quick response from host via What's App was appreciated.

Cons: Mirror missing in the bathroom, couldn't close the door in the single bedroom, handles broken on the wardrobe doors in both rooms. Sleeping pillows pitiful and need to be urgently replaced. No condiments for the kitchen or washing powder for the washing machine.

Pros: Location was perfect. Using the Metro from the airport was super easy. Just follow the metro line floor markings and buy a single ticket zone 4 direct to Trindade -purple line. Remember to validate your ticket on the platform. The apartment is a 10 minute walk. Very easy to find - 2 roads and you're there. The apartment was clean and spacious. Local facilities such as shopping mall and supermarkets nearby. The apartment was quiet. Beds fine. Entry on arrival was straight forward. This apartment is in the heart of Porto and perfect for seeing the city.

Cons: The view from the balcony isn't great but then this is reflected in the price. Would have liked more pillows but otherwise very impressed for what we paid.

A convenient and well located apartment

Pros: A nice apartment at the back of the building, away from the noise of the busy road at the front. The property looks like it has been recently renovated and the kitchen had the basics needed. Travelling with a family, having a bathroom and a separate toilet was appreciated. Location was excellent, only a few meters away from the metro station and the Bolhao market.

Cons: Check-in details where provided only 20 minutes before arrival, a message the day before (or earlier in the day) would have been appreciated. Some small maintenance issues - a couple of doors without a handle, although overall quite well kept

Great apartment despite little faults

Pros: Amazing location. Great views of the city, spacious apartment. Shower was good, good pressure. Fully equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook yourself. The chopping board needs to be binned as it had an awful smell.

Cons: It would have been helpful to have a bit of a shelf in the bathrooms for toiletries, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, face wash etc. It would have also been useful to have a shelf in the shower itself rather than having everything on the floor. A hook closer to the shower rather than the door to hang towels and clothes is more beneficial. Beds were really firm so we had to put the extra duvet under the bedsheet to soften it. More pillows required than the 2 flat ones provided. Full mirror would have been great too. The single toilet didn't feel so secure attached to the wall so that will need looking into.

Porto on your doorstep

Pros: Great location so close to everything and the metro across the rd.

Cons: Nothing to fault it on given location price and facilities

Pros: I liked the location, the fact that it had three bedrooms, and that the apartment was clean

Cons: I didn’t like that it was on the 5th floor and during my entire stay the elevator wasn’t working. We had very large and heavy suitcases, and going up and down five floors was very difficult. The host told me that someone would be there to help us carry the luggage down, but even though we waited, no one ever showed up

Great clean apartment in a very central location.

Pros: Location was excellent, market and shopping centre very close by. Apartment was very clean with nice towels and shower gel. Big shower with plenty of hot water for 5 people. Good communication with the host Ivo, who provided an extra fan for the third bedroom and allowed us to leave our bags before the check in time. Basic kitchen equipment provided, washing up liquid and sponge plus a pod for the washing machine. There’s a coffee machine (buy your own pods). Decent sized balcony to sit on.

Cons: Unable to open windows in the single bedroom or the bathroom. The curtains in the double bedroom aren’t quite wide enough or hung properly so let light into the room. No wine glasses. Only 4 chairs on the balcony so needs enough chairs for the number of people staying.

Pros: Great locatio, easy walk to the water front. Transport back by bus or tram. Lots of restaurants and bars cloe by. Would stay here again. We had a cosy 2 bedroom unit with a cute little lounge. Lift was easy.

Attentive and kind host, great value, clean and comfortable place.

Pros: For the money you can't really ask for more. They host was attentive, the place was clean and practical. It was nice to have breakfast on the terrace in the morning!

Cons: Disclosure: this problem could very well have been fixed by the time you arrive. The host was a very cool guy and wanted to fix the issue. So. a couple doors (bathroom and bedroom) don't close and when we wanted to keep the windows open for fresh air, the bedroom door would slam against the frame. We had to put bags in front to keep them shut. I actually broke the handle trying to close the door :/ the host was very kind and said maintenance would surely take a look after we checked out (we stayed just one night).
