Real feel of Porto's Ribeira in a very central and unique apartment!
Pros: Unique location in the very-very heart of Porto's Ribeira. Fantastic unique view from the balcony. Apartment has all you need - large living area, fully-equiped kitchen, two bathrooms. Great location to explore Porto, as Ribeira itself is just outside of your door, then you can easily reach the lower part of the bridge (5 mins walk) and cross the river to the other bank, will also nice views, restaurants and Porto Wineries, where you can do some tasting. Also you have very easy walking access to the main attractions on the Porto side- like Rua Flores, Sao Bento Railway Station, Se de Porto, Rua Catarina etc.
Cons: These are not really disadvantages, just something you should know about: yes, there will be noise from the street (street musicians and generally a lot of tourist walking by and sitting in cafes), but generally it didn't spoil the sleep. Another thing, it was quite cold inside in the end of December, so we had to constantly use electric heaters which were provided (but, again, as I understand, this is quite typical for Portugal generally). But you must understand that you choose this apartment not for the comfort of a 5* hotel, but for this unique oportunity to live in the heartest heart of the bustling Ribeira, in a historic building with a billion-worth view.

Not cheap but you can see why , very good property with exceptional views
Pros: Spectacular views right over the riverfront . Large bed upstairs with a full bathroom on the same level and a small changing area , Downstairs was a separate toilet , good size lounge and separate kitchen . Right at the top of the building to give you the views but did have a lift . You're on your own at the upper level so in effect a penthouse suite
Cons: Nothing , thought it was excellent , the only thing to note was as you're above a group of restaurants right on the front they have live entertainment all day and most of the night playing to the crowds . It's not each bar competing so it's not a racket , in fact the singers were of an excellent standard which we liked but it is very audible from the apartment . If you like live music its great , if you don't like it I'd say the property isn't for you

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Porto
Pros: This apartment has a real wow factor. Located looking out over the river, it gives a great sense of living in the city. The location is excellent for walking around Porto and across to Gaia. The apartment itself is well furnished and stocked and the bed is very comfortable. Even though it is over a busy square all noise stops by 11 pm and we had no trouble sleeping. it was easy to use the access codes and the host was very prompt to reply to any queries. They even arranged a taxi to the airport for us on the day we left. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place.
Cons: I would just advise that there are stairs to the bedroom so it may not suit those with mobility issues.

Perfect location, comfortable.
Pros: Location in the heart of the most sightseeing, cosy restaurants just in front of your door, perfect view from the windows to the river. In the apartments was all necessary things, coffee machine( Nespreso capsules you need), coffee pot, mocca, etc. There is a big ventilator on the ceiling.
Cons: There is no air-conditioning, we must sleep with opened windows, and its nosy till midnight.

A heavenly break in a heavenly place
Pros: Everything... contact with the host was impecable, organising a transfer, accessing the apartment was soooo easy and we got in early too. The apartment is stunning, beautiful inside, spotlessly clean, and the views are heavenly. You are right in the action, but above it in your penthouse. I felt like the king of Portugal on my lofty balcony. I must have been in a 100 pictures. I would recommend over and over again!
Cons: Nothing Nothing and nothing......

Amazing location, everything you need in the heart of the old city waterfront.
Pros: We stayed in a beautiful, spacious classically European studio with high ceilings and French doors looking out onto the street below and down the busy square. The accommodation had everything you could want for an extended stay - even a coffee machine, a washing machine and an iron. The location was perfect for us, and we loved being in the middle of everything. The staff were very helpful and immediately responded when we couldn’t figure out the washing machine. Wouldn’t 100% stay again!
Cons: We came prepared for the location to be lively and potentially noisy, and had no complaints. There is ( really good) live music from buskers in the square until about 11:00pm, which was wonderful. However some people may find the position too busy. Bring ear plugs for sleeping in the busy months. There is no noise from other apartments ( the walls are stone!) just the sound of happy, busy, Portugal in summer.
