Pros: The location was exceptional. Easy parking for a reasonable fee. Friendly and very helpful staff, the best bed ever.

Cons: More light in the room would have been appreciated , difficulty in operating the electricity

Casa Antiga provided us with the perfect base to explore. the fabulous city of Porto and we would not hesitate in coming

Pros: Casa Antiga is a unique place. It isn’t just somewhere to sleep, it’s a place that makes you feel like you’re enjoying part of Porto’s amazing neighbourhood vibe. Every room is individually set up to represent the heritage of this amazing family home, but they still maintain the modern luxuries that you would expect. The staff are very friendly and always available to offer help and advice. The lounge with its wonderful honesty bar, is a great place to enjoy a nightcap before bed.

Pros: Everything is so perfect about the place but the only disadvantage is that there is no lift and if your bedroom is on the fourth floor it is a task getting up and down the stairs. If the information about no lift was on booking.com I would have messaged the hotel and asked for a room on the first floor. Apart from the no lift fact the hotel is perfect in every way

Amazing, quiet and comfortable

Pros: Great place to rest, calm and peaceful. Clean and renovated rooms, veranda, living room, hall… Especially welcoming staff, felt myself like came to mama sisters )

Pros: The location of the property is just excellent, it sits in a quiet street just a few minutes from all the happening and attractions, close to everything. The building and the room are so authentic and full of old charm and beauty, love it. The lady who greeted me provided a detail guidance and really good tips on how best to spend time in Porto. I am in love with this city, I will be back, thank you for everything!

Fabulous, characterful guesthouse

Pros: A beautiful room and bathroom, in a lovely location just out of the main tourist areas. The staff were very helpful, the bed was amazingly comfortable, and the room had such character. Bathroom new and perfect, bar downstairs to buy wine or food, though there was also an honesty bar in Casa Antiga to buy water, wine and beer! There were several cafes nearby for breakfast, I loved Rosi.

Cons: No problem for me, but there were some stairs, so no good if you are old or infirm. Having said that, my bags were carried up for me both on arrival and departure!!

Pros: My stay at the property was completely satisfying. The location is excellent for both visiting the city center and seeing the amazing Parque do Palácio de Cristal, offering a total immersion in greenery shared with various birds, and a great viewpoint to observe the banks of the Douro River. The room, a remnant of a different era, is extremely charming and evocative. Carolina was proactive and present throughout the stay, providing suggestions and support. I would absolutely recommend it.

Cons: Based on my expectation, I can't think of any negative aspects.
