Budget accommodation in the center of Porto

Pros: Excellent location right in the center of Porto. The room was small but adequate, beds were comfy and bedding clean, the shared bathroom was clean and spotless. Check in was easy, a keycard was left for us in an envelope at reception. We arrived in Porto on an early flight so had to walk around from 7.30am waiting to check in although the weather was great and we were able to leave our luggage at 10am.

Cons: 5th floor, no lift 4pm check in Outside noise all night

Clean and comfortable place for a cheap stay in Porto!

Pros: Great location, the room was clean and so was the shared bathroom, it’s not luxury but for the price you pay it’s great for what you would expect. The shared bathroom was always available and the view from the bathroom is the best in Porto! 🤣

Cons: Be aware there are lots of stairs and no lift (our room was the top floor), bear this in mind when booking

Cheap and easy

Pros: It was a very central accommodation and the check in was very convenient.

Cons: The shower is quite small and the bed sheets smelled like wet laundry

Clean, pretty and friendly

Pros: Clean, quiet and in a very good location. Clean, preety shared areas

Pros: The property owners were extremely kind. They even made a lovely gesture by upgrading our room. Everything was perfect, and we truly had a wonderful stay.

Good communication and very clean room. Everything we needed.

Pros: The check in instructions were clear. The location was ideal. The room was clean and tidy. Perfect for our stop over in Porto

Cons: Our room looked onto the back of the property. A room with a view of the front of the building would have been nice, but it was dark when we arrived so this didn’t really matter.

Pros: Very good location in old house, close to metro in old town.

Porto is a magnificent city and the Oceano Guest House was the perfect base for us.

Pros: The location was excellent. The room was perfectly clean and fresh towels were provided every day. The TV had a variety of channels in multiple languages. Check in was simple and having a 12:00 check out was a huge bonus.

Cons: The wifi in the rooms was a bit hit an miss and there is no elevator which could be an issue for some people as the stairs were a little uneven. Not a problem for us but something to be aware of if you have mobility issues.

Pros: Good location in Ribeira area. We had a top floor room which was very large with views over the city. Very good value for money.

Cons: The top floor room was up quite a few flights of stairs (no lift) so don't choose these rooms of you have trouble with walking up lots of stairs.

Great location

Pros: Great location. Room had a beautiful view of old Porto. Excellent value for an economy room. Bed was comfortable .Would definitely stay there again.
