Pros: It was an authentic Portuguese style house which we wanted to experience. The location suited our needs as we travelled a lot from Campanha station which was a 20 minute walk. About 10 minutes walk to a busy square area with plenty of restaurants. However there were local bars and cafes only 2 minutes walk away. These were great and full of locals

Cons: A bit hot in our room which was on the top floor

Great place. Would definitely recommend.

Pros: Excellent location and very spacious room by European standards, although I think we had the best room available. 2nd floor, corner unit, with balcony plus two windows.

Cons: Minor downside was lack of an elevator, but if you don't mind hauling luggage up/down stairs, that's okay. Everything else made up for it.

Great location, welcoming and lovely place to stay

Pros: Great location. Fatima and Jessica gave me a lovely warm welcome and Fatima advised on somewhere nice to eat. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was really good and the fresh orange juice was delicious. I would recommend.

Cons: There was no air conditioning working in the room. It was a hot and humid evening so even with the windows open it was difficult to sleep.

Amazing !!!!

Pros: Amazing find ! Our room was spacious, enormous bed, and lots of windows to enjoy the weather. The team at the Dukes Corner Guest House was fantastic. Especially Jessica (?) who was making freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast for us.

Cons: Nothing much ! If I’m being fussy, we would have liked a fridge in the room. The shower was also kind of small.
