Pros: Room was lovely and comfy. Nice location by the river a nice walk into centre. Staff friendly Breakfast buffet was good, fresh eggs were lovely. Great to have parking, its tight but that is to be expected in central porto

Cons: One staff member gave us bad advice on getting to our port house tour. I obviously dint expect hotel staff to be tour guides but if not sure the answer or is better to say they don't know as it caused us to go the wrong way and take much longer route.

Lovely stay next to the river

Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable. The heating was indipendent. The location is central and the river view is nice. The breakfast was standard.

We had a great experience in Vila Gale Porto Ribeira. It was central with views of the river & its beautiful bridge

Pros: It was spacious. It had a large lobby & a beautiful outdoor area. The 500 bus & the tram passed by our door. We had dinner on one evening & it was delicious & good value. The staff were so helpful & courteous. They helped us to navigate the city. The rooms were spacious & clean. We had a lovely shower & the toiled was separate. Our room was cleaned everyday

It was fine without incident

Pros: Breakfast - There was a vast selection of cold breads, fruit and meats. The room was ok It was very clean Bed was comfortable Staff where helpful

Cons: Breakfast - An improvement would be to sort out the problems with the flasks (the markings of the milk and hot water ) where a pain i was always getting the wrong one. The hot foods (beans, sausage etc) where not hot. Try putting a lid on these items to retain the heat. The meats where otherwise tasty and of good standard

A perfect place to enjoy a wonderful break.

Pros: A convenient distance away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Beautifully situated by the river. Several delightful places to eat nearby, including the hotel itself. Excellent hotel breakfast. Extremely friendly staff, so willing to be helpful. An imaginative artist themed decor. On our last day of 4 we hopped on the quaint old tram to spend the day by the Atlantic in Foz only 15 minutes away.
