FLH Porto Ribeira with River View

Pros: We went to a taxi from the airport. We drove into the office for the keys.They did not enter the office.The manager brought the keys to the car.👍

If the smell from drains was sorted I would definately book again.

Pros: Perfect location. Beautiful view from apartment especially at night.

Cons: Stains on curtains, extremely bad smell from the drains in the bathroom, I presume this is from being in the middle of the city but the smell was so bad it was even difficult to use the shower and definately couldn’t eat in the apartment with it.

Best location in Porto - right overlooking the river

Pros: Location was perfect - right down by the river will all the restaurants and buskers and entertainment underneath.

Pros: The apartment was in an an amazing location with a fantastic view of the river

Cons: Facilities were a bit basic. Very small bed.

Cons: You need to travel an extra 20 minutes to pick up the key. It would be so much better if they had a key lock or pickup was in the same street. Not a thing extra is provided.. no salt pepper tea bags coffee nothing. We paid for 3 people and the 3rd person who was on the sofa bed had no sheets blankets pillows towel’s nothing when I contacted the host they said.. and I quote .. If you see by the capacity of the house it's suppose to only accomodate 2 persons, that's why it even has only 2 chairs…😳 yet they took my money for3 people… then they were sorry and the next day delivered the linen. Then the owner of the building a day later answered the door after I had pushed the wrong buzzer.. and wouldn’t let us in because the apartment was only do 2 people so who did I think was going to answer. Thankfully the owner of the restaurant next door sorted the situation out and we were aloud to enter. Toilet leaked from the base but there was no odours only water. Window to clothesline did not have a way of keeping it open so it was a two man job.. 1 to hold the window up and 1 to hang. Obviously not cleaned properly as there was someone else’s underwear left in my bedside table and dirt all over the pull out of the sofa bed. I don’t like to be so negative but I did let bookings.com know I was not happy and they never replied. I just believe the 3rd person deserves a refund.Note there is no Air conditioning and it is a small apartment.

Magnificent view of the Douro River, the Dom Luis I Bridge and the Port wine warehouses.

Pros: The location and view along the Douro River was magnificent. Absolutely a highlight of my almost 2-week stay. Being at river level made it convenient to visit Vila Nova De Gaia, across the bridge from Porto. Frequently, I crossed the river and hiked up the other side to the Miradouro to view the sunset. Walking to the higher elevation areas of the city of Porto was quite a workout - good for me, but may be too strenuous for some. I enjoyed opening the balcony doors and listening to live music, practically all day from noon-10pm (except on rainy days); close the doors, and mostly quiet inside.

Cons: Picking up the key at the rental office was convenient enough; my flight arrived several hours before the 3pm check-in time - so I planned accordingly. Gave me a chance to explore the upper part of the city a bit, before going down to river-level. At the apartment, I did have to provide my own paper towels, aluminum foil, cork screw. Washing machine didn't come with instructions, but the Internet helped me figure it out.

Nice Stay in great riverfront location in Porto

Pros: Great location on the waterfront. Easy access to restaurants, shops and activities. Our bedroom was at the back of the building so quiet for sleeping.

Great apartment along the Douro river

Pros: Being along the Douro river next to the Dom Luis bridge with street performers and sea birds was great. The apartment was very liveable! Great to be able to do laundry.

Cons: The power would shut off if using too many appliances, but we adjusted. You just need to push the black button in the electric box to turn it back on. Could use some directions on using the washing machine.

Incredible location, gorgeous view, very comfortable layout for a couple or 2-3 people.

Pros: Incredible location and the apartment had everything we needed. We cooked breakfast each morning after picking up groceries at a market a couple minutes away. There is a washing machine, toaster, stove, oven, pots, pans, utensils, space heater, a sofa bed, etc. The view from the windows and balcony were mindblowingly gorgeous and the windows and balcony doors did a great job at keeping all the noise out when closed. I only wish we’d booked a longer stay. We cannot wait to go back!

Cons: Only two small gripes: I didn’t like that we had to pick up our keys at a different location, but our Uber waited for us while we did so, so it wasn’t that big of an issue. And the only other mild annoyance was that we had to take out all our trash at the end of the stay which was inconvenient when we were rushing to catch our ride while it was raining.

Localização Fantástica. Fácil acesso às Principais atrações do Porto.

Pros: Localização muito boa. Vista direta do Rio Douro. Não tem barulho. Fácil acesso. Perto dos principais pontos turísticos do Centro do Porto.

Cons: Não gostei de retirar as chaves em um escritório distante da acomodação e da falta de orientação correta para chegarmos ao apartamento.
