Cozy apartment with a stunning river view

Pros: I stayed here for one night and had a really good experience. The apartment is right by the river — calm, quiet, and with a beautiful view of the bridge. It was super clean, cozy, and just what I needed to relax after a long day. The host was very friendly and shared some great tips about the area. I felt welcome and comfortable. Pros: The apartment is charming and immaculately maintained, with thoughtful touches throughout. One of the standout features is the stunning view across the river—it truly elevates the entire experience. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming.

Cons: The stairs to and from the room is steep

We enjoyed our stay, but mistakingly thought we had booked a larger apartment.

Pros: Location was excellent for the river, bars and restaurants. Lovely view of the river from our room.

Cons: Would have been good to have some milk left in the fridge for a cuppa when we arrived. Also, there were numerous charges, for additional coffee capsules after one free capsule per person and for small packets of sweets, matches and night sleeping masks, it seemed a bit mean spirited.

Pros: A beautiful home in an exceptional location. Scrupulously clean and with so much character. It was my second time staying here and it was just as enjoyable as the first. Thank you!

Amazing location and perfect for a couple.

Pros: Location was amazing!!! And had everything in it that you needed. Rosa was also fantastic!

Cons: Stairs. VERY steep and a challenge to get a heavy suitcase up.

Red House on River

Pros: Location opposite river is amazing. Very close to bridge to walk over to Gaia and restaurants and bars on Porto waterfront. Very pretty and comfortable apartment. Met by host Rosa who gave us some useful information and recommendations. Definitely worth booking this apartment.

Cons: The stairs up to apartment were an issue as we are not fit but otherwise a beautiful apartment in a fantastic location.

Unique, charming, and memorable

Pros: I booked it mainly for my parents, who I was showing around Porto for the first time. They LOVED it. My mum actually cried walking in. It is very charming, with an amazing view to the river/ bridge and a hidden gem of a small back garden which captures the sound of the falling water and birds. Just a short walk to the funicular and ribeira.

Cons: Not 100% certain but my mother and girlfriend both got a cough during the stay, I think it may have been from the AC in the bedroom, it might need a clean. But they could also have picked up a cold from elsewhere so I don’t want to say for definite it was the apartment! Something for the owner to look into.

Fabulous flat, location and view!

Pros: We are just back from a 3 night stay, as a family of four (kids 17,20). Wow what a location, it couldn’t have been better, it goes without saying that we will miss the views . The check in process with Rosa was faultless, she took the time to talk us through the flat, the area and Porto generally. We had dinner at one of the restaurants she recommended (MUU Steakhouse) - amazing steak and service. The flat was spotless , with two toilets, and the honesty box for beers/waters/sundries was most welcome . The flat was spacious , with a well equipped kitchen which we didn’t use , apart from the nespresso machine. We would definitely recommend this place (and by the way, Porto was just divine). Great location for all sights, and the cafe downstairs was great for breakfast and drinks throughout the day!

Pros: Absolutely loved my stay! The location of the property is top-notch, really spacious, and perfect for exploring Porto. Waking up to the beautiful view every day was such a treat. Plus, Rosa, our host, was incredibly friendly and helpful—she really made our stay special. I had a fantastic experience overall and would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Pros: Really great location with less than 20 min walk to almost all the restaurants. Wonderful views of the river and bridge. Kitchenette was great for the few things we had. We loved having the window open and hearing all the action outside and getting the fresh air. We also did 2 really great morning runs along the boardwalk and the bridge and to a few markets!

Cons: We had no issues, but if you are a light sleeper, it can be loud. Parking would be tough, we fortunately returned our rental car then came to the property. We seemed to be unable to contain the shower.
