Pros: The location was great. From the street there wonderful views of the river and its bridges particularly the Dom Luis bridge. Good to excellent cafes and restaurants on the doorstep. The apartment is modern, part of the renovation of an old narrow building, typical of Porto by the river.

Cons: The apartment is compact and presumably designed to squeeze accommodation for 4 people into a small space. This is fine fairly well with a spiral staircase connecting the 2 floors. I was staying with my husband and 2 adult daughters and it suited us very well as a base for a long weekend. We just had to remember to not bump into the spiral staircase!

Pros: Excellent apartment, everything was comfortable and convenient. The apartment is well equipped.

Cons: I could clearly hear the neighbors from the second floor, all their steps and actions, it prevented me from sleeping

Pros: Central and gorgeous view of the river outside the apartment. Very comfortable and compact place. Beds comfortable and bathrooms great

Cons: Possibly the stairs, because they are in the room and need to be aware of them.

Lovely spacious apartment, with a beautiful view.

Pros: The property has a fantastic view directly over the Douro and the famous bridges. It is only a few metres away from the funicular, to gain access to the main town of Porto. There are many restaurants and bars all within easy walking distance. The apartment itself is very clean and spacious. The only drawback, is the need for some of Porto’s motorcyclists to use the road outside to exercise their loud machines, well into the night. Other than that, the apartment would have scored 10/10.

Cons: The noise from the road.

Pros: Great apartment in a fantastic location. Clean and comfortable.

Cons: Could be a little noisy when the neighbours are moving around, but we didn’t hear much of that.

Cons: No A/C upstairs Not much intimacy upstairs... Ok for children. Very small shower on the first floor Bring your own face cloth and wash cloth
