A beautiful elegant placd to stay in hidtoric part ot Porto

Pros: Beautiful decor throughout, elegant and tranquil Our room.. no 1 overlooks the square and really lovely to watch the world go by from the balcony. Our room was magnificentwith a carved wooden ceiling, a special romantic place. We turned air con right down which was fine, might be very hot in summer Good location no more than 10 mnute walk from any attraction.

Cons: We found breakfast adequate but rather unimaginative. Would havd been nice to be offered coffee refill and to have a selection of pastries, cheese and meats. Others have mentioned no tea and coffee facilities in the room, we totally agree this is lacking. I made a big fuss on our first vist. This time a kettle and cups were provided, we had our own tea bags fortunately.

This property was recommended to us and it lived up to expectation. Perfect location.

Pros: This property was recommended to us and it lived up to expectation. From the unique room, to the comfy bed. The perfect location, superb restaurant recommendations and nice morning breakfast options. We would love to return one day.

Cons: Would love a kettle in our room to make our own tea.

A fabulous stay in Porto

Pros: Amazing location in a historic building that had been converted superbly. The rooms were large and comfortable, which made the whole trip feel very special.

Cons: The buskers outside the hotel played the same music over and over again. It was way too loud which disturbed the ambience. They should be made to turn the volume down so that it is less intrusive.

Ultimate luxury

Pros: We had the most fantastic stay, we stayed in room no.2, it is beautifully decorated, our room so spacious and the bed is like sleeping on a cloud! The shower was amazing. We also had a private terrace, which was amazing! The staff at the hotel are so, so nice and extremely attentive. Breakfast each morning was so nice, fresh and plentiful. We will definitely return again, the hospitality at this hotel is second to none, thank you again for making our stay so special!

Wonderfully presented hotel with luxurious furniture and decoration. Recommend it to anyone.

Pros: The location was fantastic for the old city attractions and restaurants and bars. Breakfast was always prepared at whatever time was requested and cooked fresh. Wonderfully helpful staff and spotlessly clean.

Cons: Nothing to do with the hotel, but as any city break I always take ear plugs and needed them during this visit due to loud musical buskers which seem to plague Porto. That said they finish at 10.00pm so not so bad.

Very enjoyable stay

Pros: Location is very good, with lots of restaurants in a short walking distance. Receptionists were very helpful eg booking a restaurant and arranging an airport taxi with baby seat. The bar in the sitting room is great. We stayed in room 2 with the private terrace. The building itself is beautiful and our room was lovely.

Cons: Our only suggestion would be a high chair for the breakfast room (cot beds are provided).

Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would recommend the hotel to others!

Pros: We stayed at this hotel with my wife, and everything was amazing. The rooms were beautifully designed, and the breakfasts were delicious. The hotel is also perfectly located, making it easy to explore the area.

Cons: On the downside, the bathroom door was made of semi-transparent glass, which felt a bit unusual. Additionally, there is no on-site parking available, which might be inconvenient for those traveling by car.
