brilliant location great quirky place, super clean (but noisy and not large luggage friendly)
Pros: Quirkiness of the place - build into the cliff and right under the bridge - fantastic location and clearly alot of history in the building
Cons: train tracks directly above us so it was very noisy - and also we had 1 large suitcase which was completely inappropriate for us trying to drag it up/ down lots of steps and cobbled walkways to get to the property - there was no inclination at all about how difficult it was to walk to with luggage - luckily a kind local helped us by carrying the suitcase down the hill / steps accesability issues - there is no way anyone in a wheelchair could stay here - but so many other positives

Pros: The availability of hosts when you need them. Location is perfect but may not be ok for travelers with lot of luggage because you have to take stairs to reach the accommodation

Cons: I wasn’t able to open the blinds on the property.

Pros: One of the best apartments I've ever stayed in. Perfect location right by the river and bridge, little balcony with river view was just amazing. The apartment is very well equipped, spotlessly clean and very stylish. Hosts were lovely to communicate with and accommodated all my requests. I would stay here again and again.

We've had a lovely stay, we'll definetely recommend.
Pros: The property was well kept, the staff was very helpful with the check-in instructions, its situated right next to Pont Luiz (the bridge), there were muffins/bread and some goodies provided by the owner in the kitchen which was very thoughtful, the view from our window was lovely, in the morning there are stalls with local crafts on the stairs and even a cute café.
Cons: We had not realised that the kitchen area was a shared space. Although it was not an issue, this was not so clear from the pictures

A very cosy little hotel, great for exploring Porto
Pros: The hotel is located in the very center of Porto, in an old historic building close to the main bridge and the river bank with many restaurants, bars and live music. You could walk around the center from there too. The hosts were very nice and helpful, sent us detailed instructions to make self check-in smooth and quick. We admired a great view from our window. There was a shared kitchen for all guests, where we found coffee, tea and even some snacks for breakfast, which was unexpected and very pleasant.
Cons: It was very noisy at all times because of the trains passing the bridge, seagulls screaming and ongoing parties in nearby bars. We were prepared for it, but still were pretty bothered. For just a 2 night stay it is fine, but would be difficult to endure longer.

A great stay & just to make people aware of the stairs & access to & from either up or down many stair’s. We
Pros: It was a brilliant location for us on our trip to Porto. While tiny, the property had everything we needed & a wonderful coffee shop a few doors down, praise to flat whites 🙏
Cons: The bed was not so comfortable but we are in our early 60’s 😂 The trams run all day right over the property however with the aircon on & windows closed they did not disturb our sleep as much as we thought it may. Still it was a great place to stay.

Best stay in Porto!
Pros: This was such a lovely place to stay, in an amazing location right by the river. The hosts were really accommodating and friendly. Our room was very clean and tidy, and the multiple locked doors made us feel really safe. With the accommodation being so close to the Luis I Bridge, we even managed a last minute trip onto the top of bridge to watch the sunset over Porto - beautiful!!

Good value for money.
Pros: The property is located next to the Luis I Bridge, and it’s a 10-15 min walk from the main sights and landmarks of the city. The room, although small, offered everything that is necessary. It was clean, and Sandra and the rest of the staff were quite friendly. Considering the price it was a good option.
Cons: The stairs to get to the hotel (and inside)! I read the reviews about this but definitely wasn’t prepared to pull a suitcase up for so many levels! We were in 2, so we took turns but omg it’s a nightmare. It’s not their fault but still worth mentioning. Other small issues were the electrical outlets near the bed were behind it, so if you wanted to charge your phone near it you had to pull the bed a bit.
