Luxury modern artistic hotel with great staff with very large comfortable quiet well equipped rooms.

Pros: Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff, impeccable cleanliness and tasteful decoration. Enjoyable breakfast with fresh ingredients, and complimentary drinks. Very comfortable bedding in huge bedroom, large generously equipped bathroom, with a large bath. The restaurant garden is very relaxing, with comfortable reception, bar and break-out areas for guests. We just discovered the lovely(secret) garden as we were checking out.

Pros: The room was spacious and clean and well equipped. The yellow tulip added a touch of luxury. The best was the bed — it was very comfortable and the bedsheets of the finest quality. My room had two windows which offered a wonderful view of sun-lit Porto in the afternoon. The free glass of porto wine at the bar made a big difference. All the staff I met were courteous. There was also a complimentary sealed glass bottle of water.

Cons: The Internet never worked. I was explaining how to use it but because it was some kind of complicated system I ended up relying on my roaming.

Pros: The staff were amazing with any requests. The rooms are very comfortable and the hotel area is amazing to explore.

Cons: Cold water in shower 1 or 2 mornings. Ordering breakfast and coffee you have to look for staff and menus. The business meeting room on 1st floor didn't have any desks to work on.

Exceptional staff at a lovely hotel in a perfect location for exploring Porto

Pros: Everything was great about this hotel. From our welcome with a glass of port and pastel de nata and throughout our 3 night stay. Staff were exceptional - we were always greeted with a smile and they couldn’t do enough for us. Our room was lovely and spacious with everything we needed. Location was perfect as we could walk everywhere, yet it was quiet at nights. Breakfasts were great and plenty of choice. Would definitely return and totally recommend. Thank you😊

Amazing experience

Pros: Amazing ambiance, decoration and most of all how welcoming and polite the staff was. Breakfast was also very good, not only the calm setting with jazz music but also the different variety of food’s available ( not overwhelming)

The hotel was promoting a 5 & 7 taster menu which we were interested however the below average breakfast put us off

Pros: Property was spotless and well located for the city ! The staff were all so nice. A glass of support on arrival, surprise champagne on two occasions ! Only 600 metres to the famous Porto market. Best advice is walk down the hill and take in all the tourist attractions however UBER is your frond in Porto for getting back to your hotel.

Cons: The property has huge potential for offering more facilities for customers. The bar could do with an upgrade to attract more customers.

Stunning hotel

Pros: The hotel was sublime! From the welcome we received on arrival. To the cleaning staff. Rooms were so comfortable with all mod cons.

Cons: Could only say maybe location is a little bit further than I had imagined from river front. But that was purely my fault not the hotels.
