Pros: The hotel is very well located. when leaving the hotel, if turning left, it's a 10 min walk distance from the Douro River and Ribeira. If turning right, you have the other attractions, shopping, bolhao market etc.

Cons: There's nothing not to like. Also the reception guys were very helpful with any questions we had.

Pros: Splendid Breakfast. Friendly staff. Close to most of the attractions.

Pros: Really good location - close to transport links and attractions, there’re a few bike rental shops around the hotel too. We got vouchers for glasses of Port and two Natas as gifts for staying! Receptionist is very helpful and gave us useful information and city map to help with our travel. Our room is by the main road but the windows are noise cancelling so can barely hear anything in the night. Bathroom is very spacious. Definitely one of our favourite hotels in the trip! Well visit again in the future 😊

Pros: Hotel is spotless clean, good breakfast, nice friendly staff. It is 10 mins walk one direction to river and 10 mins other direction to downtown shopping area.

Cons: Bar/lounge area is small and the street its on is very quite.

Very good but slightly spoiled at the end . Sort it.

Pros: We ate in the restaurant once which was very good. Breakfast every day was also very good. The Hotel is in a good location a short walk from the rail and bus stations.

Cons: We had to leave at before 7am on our last day. We were not allowed a coffee from the restaurant at 6.30 as breakfast was not until 7. Some food was already laid out on the breakfast room but we were given a packed breakfast which was very poor. A dry sandwich, a yoghurt, a child's juice and an apple. We had after all, paid for breakfast. After an excellent stay, this was a good look and needs to be sorted.

A great place to stay with an Aston Martin

Pros: I travelled with a group of 10 other couples on a road tour of Spain and Portugal. We chose the hotel because of its location and underground parking facility which allowed us to park 11 Aston Martin sports cars on site. Care was needed when entering and exiting but there were no problems and the front desk staff were there and happy to assist.

Pros: The staff were very welcoming and very helpful. The hotel facilities were excellent.

Porto is great well worth a visit

Pros: Excellent location to everything all within walking distance. Reception staff were very friendly most helpful with ideas on where to go.

Cons: The service at breakfast, it was buffet, the staff do not check on the food whether extra needs to be brought out. On two mornings the scrambled egg pot was empty the bacon too, yes the staff are busy putting plates & glasses out but not watching the food at all. The 2nd morning, we asked for croissants as basket was empty the lady said they coming they never came neither did the scrambled egg or bacon. So we left . 3rd morning same problem with scrambled eggs, when my husband approached the lady & said we had the same problem the day before she went off in a huff came back to our table after 10mins & put a small bowl of scrambled eggs down next to us with such force we thought it would tip over & off she went without a smile or a word we thanked her & left it at that. Can’t fault the chefs here it’s the staff who should be monitoring.
