Lovely hotel

Pros: The location was perfect—close to the river, the old part of the city, and surrounded by restaurants and shops. Breakfast was excellent, offering everything you would expect. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and made the stay even more enjoyable.

Porto is a delight. The hotel was well positioned and despite a few niggles just perfect.

Pros: Location was perfect. Near the Douro River for sightseeing and evening meals and positioned at the beginning of the road that runs up to the centre of the town. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was pretty good although I didn't like their machine made cappaccino. Espresso was better.

Cons: Need better free maps and the breakfast wasn't served till 8 o'clock which meant missing out if you were on some of the early starting longer tours or had a plane to catch.

Pros: Excellent location, right in the heart of Porto! Even though it’s in a busy square, the windows are well soundproofed — though for light sleepers, earplugs might still be helpful. The hotel is beautiful, the room was spacious, and the staff were kind and helpful. Recommended!

Great hotel

Pros: The location is superb, the beds, the size of the room, the amenities, the breakfast and the staff always very helpful and kind specially Benedita, who was always taking care of us

Cons: The rooms we stayed in face the street and even though the windows are doble sealed, you can still hear the noises on the street, but it isn’t that bad
