Located in the center of Porto, Linha 22 is a modest and authentic Guest House with a traditional structure belonging to the city's Historical Heritage. With a great location, it is a 3-minute walk from the city's main train and metro station: São Bento. It has a coffe and wine shop from small Portuguese producers. Small and cozy, it was made with all dedication for the best comfort of its guests. Linha 22 is ideal for a weekend or for short stays in the beautiful city of Porto. The classically-decorated rooms feature a private bathroom with free toiletries and some units also feature scenic views over the historical Porto center. A Continental breakfast is served each morning at the guest house, for an extra fee. With a scenic riverfront area full of restaurants serving traditional Porto dishes and tapas, the Ribeira neighborhood is just a 10-minute walk from our proprety The central Aliados Avenue is a 5-minute walk and features shops, characteristic coffe shops and traditional restaurants. The property is a 3-minute walk from the classic Lello Bookstore, a popular Porto landmark. The iconic Dom Luis I Bridge is a 15-minute walk. The Porto International Airport is a 19-minute drive from the Linha 22 or 30-minute by metro. This is our guests' favorite part of Porto, according to independent reviews. Couples in particular like the location – they rated it 9.7 for a two-person trip. We do not recommend Line 22 for people with mobility problems since the property is a historical building heritage without elevators.

Pros: Authentic atmosphere, perfect location, amazing panoramic views of the Porto rooftops, as I was living on the top floor. The room was just the right size for the solo travel. Instructions and communication - all clear. Totally recommend it.

Cons: Although few provided hangers were very helpful, I was struggling a bit with the place where to put my things. Additional shelving or just a bigger chair would have been enough.

A comfortable and charming place to stay in the heart of Porto.

Pros: The accommodation was clean and well-maintained, and everything looked even better than in the photos. There was plenty of space for two adults, and the bathroom was also comfortable. It’s also worth noting the view from the window, which is truly magical and offers a breathtaking panorama of Porto.

Cons: The Wi-Fi hardly worked — it was only available until around 10 a.m., and then stopped completely. I had to buy a Portuguese SIM card as I had a lot of online work to do. It’s also worth mentioning that the apartment is on a high floor the 5th floor, accessible only by steep stairs. It was a bit challenging, but manageable. It can also get quite noisy at night, but it’s still bearable.

Pros: Location was the best, easily getting to the metro and other places from this location was amazing. And Mantegeiro next door was just incredible.

Cons: Something like a small table would have been nice, but the room was not that big. I think overall it was really solid.

Pros: Very good location. Comfortable double bed, nice, small bathroom with good shower (strong water pressure, hot water), hairdryer, ceiling fan, TV with many channels including CNN, BBC, Al-Jazeera, DW, France 24,...Window with city's view. Good communication via email..

Cons: Not cheap. The entrance was through the back street. No reception, they don't have anyone on site. Steep, narrow, timber staircase. It was hard to carry my luggage to the top floor - 80 steps. Bed takes most of the space of the room. Complicated check-in (you must have working phone with access to your email). Would be nice to have a minibar and ...a drinking glass/cup. Not the best WiFi, if you could connect at all. Next day I bought local SIM.

Pros: The location is excellent. It is in the very centre of Porto, close to the main square and the central line of the metro (the airport is some 30 minutes by this metro). Even though it is centrally located, there is no noise at night. My room was upstairs, and check-in was automatic. I had no problems, as I had all the information in advance, and all the codes worked perfectly. I did not mind walking the beautiful round stairs, but I can understand that with huge suitcases, this might be a challenge, not to mention that there is little room for large suitcases in the room. The room is tiny but perfectly designed – the shower is just a step from the bed, but it has its unique charm! You can even store your clothes in the drawers below the bed, which I found charming:)

Cons: I would recommend installing a small fridge under the shower section!

Pros: Great location, we could walk almost anywhere central. Despite being very central it didn’t get too noisy. Some good restaurants close by as well.
