Amazing!

Pros: The staff the attention to detail customer service amazing

It was a romantic Valentines weekend where we were made to feel important and cared for.

Pros: Torel Saboaria is a beautiful hotel with excellent staff. From the very first moment we arrived until the last moments as we left, we were treated with the upmost care and attention. I was genuinely sad to leave such a happy place but I will be looking forward to returning.

Cons: I could not find a fault with such a lovely place.

Perfect stay with no notes

Excellent stay

Pros: Beautiful boutique hotel with really excellent and helpful staff. We came for a special anniversary trip and also had some lovely treatments in the spa. Thiago was so helpful and honest with his advice which was greatly appreciated.

Beautiful and welcoming hotel

Pros: Staff were very friendly in this lovely Porto hotel. Spa was amazing. Many thanks to Fatina and Elaine (our masseuses) who were excellent and completely made us relaxed after a long journey on the arrival day.

Cons: Restaurant can be improved. Christmas lunch was disappointing.

Great value for money

Pros: This review comes from someone with experience in five-star hospitality in the UAE, and I have to say nothing can quite beat the warmth and hospitality of the reception staff at this hotel. They were truly amazing—helpful, attentive, and always checking in on us. From giving detailed tips on local restaurants to accommodating every request we had, they made us feel genuinely comfortable. We’d absolutely come back and recommend it to any friends visiting Porto. The hotel itself is older but has a beautiful, unique boutique design, which we really enjoyed over Christmas. Plus, the location is perfect—just a five-minute walk from a metro station, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets around.

Cons: It’s not perfect: the toilet seat could use an upgrade, and the bed was a bit soft for my husband, though fine for me. The breakfast could see a slight improvement too. In our opinion, the temperature of the steam room was too high. But overall, it was amazing value for money and a lovely stay.

A brilliant stay with some of the best staff ever

Pros: Excellent breakfast - catered for a stated allergy. Room 3 is large and very well appointed. Very comfortable bed and great double shower. Close to subway and walking distance of some attractions. Staff were fantastic - some of the best I have ever encountered. Very attentive and honestly intereted in helping on the smallest issues.

Cons: No bar, which would have been good. Restaurant was outbooked on 2/3 nights.

A beautiful hotel, perfectly located with the best staff in Portugal!

Pros: This hotel and its staff are one of the best we’ve stayed at in the whole of Europe. Our whole stay from start to finish was more than we could have wished for. The level of attention to detail was second to none, the hotel facilities were beautiful and the food was delicious. It was my husband’s 60th birthday during our stay and the staff went out of their way to make it special. The location itself was ideally placed to the centre and only 25 mins or so from the airport. A definite 10/10 from us. Thank you for everything, you made our stay memorable.

Cons: Nothing at all

Pros: The best hotel we have ever stayed in. Everything was wonderful. Great food, location, facilities. And a special mention for the staff who were lovely and very attentive and helpful. We really felt at home. Also, it smells wonderful!
