Porto River Soul Hotel

A great choice for my first visit to Porto.

Pros: I appreciate the Hotel’s stylish and calm design. Very friendly, kind and attentive staff. Care and consideration flows throughout the hotel. Attention to detail is impressive. It is very clean and well cared for. Oh, and the views - absolutely Stunning!

Perfect stay in Porto

Pros: Location was incredible, right next to the river and within walking distance to all the tourist sites. The hotel itself was amazing - the rooms, rooftop, service (especially from Angelo in the restaurant) were all impeccable - I would recommend this place again and again!

Cons: Nothing! It was all great.

Pros: Exceptional view and comfortable elegant rooms. Friendly staff.

Cons: It is newly open so the restaurant isn't yet fully operational.

Absolutely amazing 🫶🏼

Pros: We had an amazing time in Gaia & Porto! The hotel is amazing with stunning views of the Dom Luiz bridge and Porto, literally we walked everywhere from there. The staff were amazing and made our 20 year anniversary extra special for us, top class!

A wonderful hotel. We would love to come back.

Pros: The hotel is new, very nice and well maintained. It has an interesting design. The room was comfortable and elegant, and we had a wonderful view of Porto. The famous bridge is just a few steps away, as is the riverside promenade with restaurants and shops. The breakfast was very good, with a large selection of tasty items, even sparkling wine. We would gladly return.

Cons: It was a rainy day and we wanted to borrow an umbrella. We managed to do so once, but the hotel charges a deposit. Unfortunately, the second time there weren't enough umbrellas, so we had to walk in the rain. If I had to point out something negative, it would be that once we got wet, we would have preferred a bath to a shower. But overall, the stay was wonderful.

Pros: One of - if not THE - best City Trip hotels I have ever been to. Everything was Just perfect, big, clean room, great rain shower with perfect water pressure, very comfortable bed with different pillows of choice. Even The wardrobe had a so well thought through concept! The best was the small balcony with the magnificent view of the Douro and Porto old town shore. Breakfast had fresh regional products and a great choice as well as good coffee. I am really more than impressed, it will stay my first choice for trips to Porto for sure!

Amazing stay

Pros: The location of the hotel and view from the room are amazing. Nice breakfast with enough variety to choose from. The room was spacious with a small balcony overlooking the river. It was a little cold to sit outside in december, but I imagine it would be great in summer. The hotel is within walking distance of all sights in both Porto and Gaia.

Great for a city trip / weekend
