Best accommodation ever

Pros: This was our best ever accommodation experience anywhere, and it started with the wonderful host, Laura. She welcomed us to the property with cake and port wine. The kitchen is well-stocked with bread, butter, juice, milk, and cereals to help us tide over the first few days as we find our bearings. The property is close to every place we'd like to go. There's even a charming Fado house a block away. All we can say really is a heartfelt thank you to Laura for being such a warm host and providing an above-and-beyond service so rare these days in this industry. ❤️

An awesome location for a very relaxing break.

Pros: Location is truly amazing, but that's just one reason to stay here. The beds were comfy, the apartment very homely, it felt more like a second home than a hotel or apartment. Warm shower, lots of space, great restaurants around the corner, pool table and Netflix. The hosts brought us cakes for Christmas, and were extremely welcoming with great recommendations. Would 100% return. Perfect stay.

Cons: Everything quite perfect.

Great apartment in Porto

Pros: A very spacious loft apartment in a fabulous location with good access to transport and all the main attractions, restaurants, and bars. You really are in the thick of it. Our host was welcoming and friendly. Some lovely touches, including Pasteis de Nata and port on arrival.

Cons: It is a 27/7 location, which meant at times it could be noisy. While completely out of our hosts' control, there is a lot of regeneration and building work locally.

Great city, great river, the Douro, and great place to stay and enjoy it all.

Pros: Just a great apartment so near the centre of the city and with everything we needed.

Cons: Maybe a slightly better shower, it was more than adequate but there are some pretty good ones nowadays.

A fantastic place to stay

Pros: Laura is an amazing host, helping when my friend needed medical information...making us feel very special and at home. It was a super location...close to everything...literally

Very enjoyable short stay in a spacious well appointed apartment in a central location.

Pros: Well presented, huge apartment with just about every amenity one could want. Nice touch with Pasteis de Nata and port left for us - and a coffee machine ! Lovely and helpful host - Laura.

Cons: Unfortunately the narrow lane/junction road noise went on generally until midnight and sometimes a bit later. We probably noticed this more because we live in a very quiet country lane ! Although some of the antics of the drivers trying to negotiate the sharp bend was very entertaining.

Fabulous apartment

Pros: Wonderful apartment in a great location for exploring the area. Claudia is the perfect hostess, and really has thought of everything to make a stay here comfortable. We were left delicious pastries and a bottle of tasty port wine, milk, juice, cheese and ham in the fridge. Plus bread and extra bread in the freezer. The kitchen has all utensils you may need, and a washing machine and dishwasher. Easy walking distance to the river, bridge or the tower and markets. We loved our stay here, and would happily stay again.

Comfy stay, highly recommended

Pros: Laura met us at the flat and was very kind and hospitable, stating in touch over WhatsApp to check we were ok over the stay. We loved how big and clean the place is, and how every little thing had been thought of (everything from shower gel to dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent). Some food was provided - including a homemade orange cake and bottle of Port wine! Definitely the best apartment stay we’ve ever had. Kitchen was wonderfully equipped with all appliances. Ideal family stay.

Pros: Claudia was very sweet and helpful, and the Loft was very good equipped with everything you need, great location and we will come back next time - Thanks Claudia
