Absolute gem - a haven of calm

Pros: This is a gem of a property - exactly the warm welcome you would want from a small, family-run hotel. Everything is still very new and the attention to detail is exceptional. The whole site has been created with real love and it’s clear that everyone involved loves working there and being part of it. Being blessed with a super hot weekend in October I could also enjoy the sun sitting out on a lounger in the lovely garden area and dip (my feet) in the beautiful pool. The room aromatherapy and welcome drink were lovely extra touches. Such a haven away from the bush streets of Porto. I will be back for sure

Cons: No complaints

Great place to stay outside of the hurly-burly of Porto

Pros: Very relaxing, lovely breakfast, atmosphere it is a taxi ride from town which goes from 5 to €8. Other people walked in but the pavement as such it’s not good enough if you’re not sure footed. We had had a few days in there early Burleigh of Central Porto and then travelled on the train to.Coimbra for a few days so were glad to have a relaxing time.

Cons: Limited bar menu, if you’re there for more than a few days. I needed to do some meetings and there is no desk area but the Wi-Fi worked brilliantly for teams meetings.

Excellent stay - would return!

Pros: Very peaceful - if we wanted to walk to the Porto side it would take us approximately 25mins but you can easily get an uber for around 10mins into town if you don’t want to walk - it’s such a beautiful and peaceful location - breakfast was lovely and Staff are very helpful and are excellent hosts! We would definitely return! Lovely pool with a beautiful view also!

Cons: Nothing - everything was great

Wonderful.

Pros: Absolutely adored this hotel. Marta was wonderful. Breakfast was great, but the best bit was the gardens surrounding and how tranquil it was to stay here. Really beautiful. Unlike other hotel experiences as was incredibly relaxing all The time and felt very peaceful.

Peaceful and pretty Place to come back to after visiting the busy city

Pros: Beautiful interior design and quiet location. Garden with nice view and pool.

Cons: About the property itself nothing, just the cobble Stones on the way to get to the Hotel are not convenient when walking with a heavy suitcase.

A piece of quiet paradise on the edge of the hustle and bustle

Pros: Wonderful hosts, Martha and Sonia. Extremely kind and who went out of their way to help us after we had got the dates wrong. They found a solution. In Gaia, on the other riverside from Porto, which we found to be less overrun with tourists. A brisk walk along the beautiful river bank and over the bridge into Porto city centre. Delightful views over the river from this small boutique hotel with the personal touch. Delicious breakfast, wonderful comfy bed. Our only gripe (and its a very small one) is the lack of space for suitcases or a writing table/with chair in the bedroom. Otherwise, highly recommendable for those tourists who like some peace and quiet in the evening...away from the tourist hordes that throng Porto

LOVED our stay. Will be back in the Autumn with all the family.

Pros: The location is excellent it’s a lively walk into the centre. The morning view is excellent and it is very calming listening to the morning bird songs.

Cons: Every attention to detail is excellent. Beach towels , slippers, tea making facilities, toiletries everything is well thought about. The bar in the evening serves a great selection. Nothing is too much trouble for Marta and she is very helpful. The breakfast is fresh and delicious
